Just got back from Leicester. I actually enjoyed being in the away end today. Good atmosphere and we didn't get beat. But I admit that shows how low my expectations are right now.

2nd half was frustrating given our lead. I've a little bit of sympathy for Hecky. Potts comes on for example at a time when we needed fresh legs. He poorly gave the ball away in their half, and then they go down the other end, another mistake this time from Pol and they equalise.

Individual errors we seem to get punished everytime at moment. Today could have been better, could have been worse too.
 
Don’t get his subs, they seem to be pre planned. Today was a strange one again, did Potts touch the ball ? Moran and Dobbin were prob our best two players but as per he takes them off. As for Smith, sums up the.negativity of the manager bringing him on as he offers nothing going forward.
 
He’s absolutely not down with the worst of our managers as he’s working with a L1 budget. To some extent he’s doing a remarkable job. But he’s not a manager to ever take us forward, therefore ideal for the current IOM regime.

If we get new ownership, he has to go.

Potts ,Brady ,Smith and possibly Hughes are now finished at this level .Age and injuries have finally caught up with them.They have all had good careers in football but for us they are now contributing nothing apart from pocketing wages every week which could be paid to a younger element which for us is the only way forward. We cant keep being the club who keeps dishing contracts out to old aging players who would never get a contract anywere else .

So really with people saying we have a Championship 1 team and one of the lowest budgets in the Championship people on the outside could say he’s doing a good job. Personally up to Xmas this season the majority were satisfied with Hecky, especially after last seasons finish where again the majority expected us to be relegated this year. I totally agree the whole club needs a complete overhaul from Manager, players and the owners of the club. But unless we see a takeover or someone at the club with new ideas we will be in this mess again or even in a worse situation next season.

The loans have gone a long way towards keeping us out of trouble this season.
We will probably need similarly successful loans next season which is far from guaranteed.
Fingers crossed for a successful takeover which breathes fresh life into the club.
 
I do agree his subs most weeks, when we are winning, seem to set us back and at times have cost us points.

However id counter that in his defence with the substitutes he’s actually bringing on are far inferior to the ones he’s replacing meaning a drop off in quality is inevitable. For example Smith for Dobbin and Potts for Moran yesterday

It all comes down to the lack of investment
