Like the player or not, as a team we definitely improved with Offiah and Small out wide, and Potts moved central.

We really weren't much better at all. Small got a few decent balls into the box and that was about it. We looked marginally better for the first 10 mins after the break but the last 20/25 were arguably some of the worst.

Whether we were any better in the second half is up for debate. To say we were the better side however I cannot agree with. I thought we were appalling. Other than the Potts header which was a routine tip over and then the 95th minute Dobbin chance, we created absolutely nothing.

We can still be the better side in the half whilst not being good.

West Brom were the worse of the two sides in the second half, but they scored their chance.
 
I've missed loads of home games this season despite having a season ticket. I went on for the first time in ages today and I genuinely couldn't wait to leave. It was turgid to watch. I wasn't surprised to look round and see about 2-3k left on in injury time.

If it wasn't for my Dad being that way out that he will stay until the end no matter what when we do go on these days I would have gone at half time. I genuinely nearly nodded off in the 2nd half.
 
Look on absolutely no metric, other than opinion were we the better side in either half. We had a 5 minute spell early second half, ten minutes maximum. Other than that their keeper had absolutely sod all to do.

The bar is set extremely low, if people think that was being the better team!
 
Really want to like him but for 2 seasons running when things start go wrong he seems to be clueless how to stop it leading to long winless runs. Start of the season everyone talking about our pace, how it’s all pushing forwards, high block, exciting football……now back to slow, ponderous, clueless, mind-numbingly boring football, that’s so ineffective. Sadly think it’s time to try something new.
