How you doing, alright?

How you doing, alright?

I

It'll probably make you more tired.. you should set an alarm so you only sleep for an hour.. probs all you need. Then you can do some exercise feeling abit more awake.. feels like your wasting youre life sleeping that much doesn't it
Thats not a bad shout actually.

I suspect it is out of stress and boredom rather than tiredness which is why i think a walk will do me good

not been great this week me. Finishing work at 3pm every day and by 4pm I'm asleep on the couch until about 7pm. Going to try and do my exercise straight after work in the hope it keeps me awake

Hope everything gets better for you Paddy and I’m sure it will you seem a very determined character to me (I mean that in a good and positive way btw). Good luck to you.

Cheers Joan. I have my battles same as everyone else, I've just always found it better to be open when I'm having a wobble. Just a blip I'm sure.

Do you have an exercise programme or do you just do bits ? If you've time on you're hands like this(finishing work early) you should buy a programme or use free vids on YouTube. Do a before and after photo(for yourself). Make the lockdown productive for you... Argggggghhhhhhhh do it man DOOOOO ITTTTTTT!!!!! make the lockdown something you look back on and think " that's when I truly got fit and extended my life span by 10 year"

I've put a program together this week so hopefully that will help. Been spending loads of time on my guitar too which is good for the old noggin.

Describing hell right there... Have any four year olds ever behaved ? Ever ? Do they stop being annoying little (something or other) at any point? I feel like ripping my hair out lol

Pretty much every 4 year old goes through the phase where they just either babble incoherently or ask seemingly inane questions and expect others to be able to entertain them and answer them/humour them, they grow out of it eventually.

Then when they are adults they lapse back into it and join internet forums.

Or are posh
If you ever have a desire to know what I look and behave like then this is pretty much spot on

Whereas this is me...

Strange week for me, lots of self-reflection. Had a lot of money worries so my diet has been better (!) and not been drinking at all.

Then found myself having a bit of a moment watching Shaunn Walsh on Dave doing the CALM stand-up, talking about drinking to mask his problems and being the life and soul of every party, and that drunk him was the normal him in his 20's. Then his 30's hit and life happened, so drinking became coping with things.... And after his world was turned upside down and going through panic attacks and anxiety issues he cut down on the drink...

And then he realised...

Without the drink, he hadn't a clue who he actually was. He had to get to know this new person, someone he hadn't seen for nearly 20yrs. Having to cope with actual feelings, process thoughts and cope with failures (not just laugh them off at being pissed)

This is where I find myself right now. I've found that I can deal with the rough things without needing a drink to cope. I've not been able to "congratulate" myself with a drink after a success or have a treat... Which basically, would have been a bottle of red a day.

What I've found is that without alcohol numbing my emotions, all the good things on the world have been overwhelming me (Captain Tom, the clap for carers, friends dropping off food parcels when I was ill, even hearing old songs on the radio) would have me in bits.

I can't rush out for a bottle for comfort, so this lockdown is forcing me to embrace the real world, to deal, to cope, to feel again.

A work in progress. Watch this space...
