We have already had about 2 or 3 inches in the last hour in Euxton and it is meant to stay heavy for the next few hours.........

Has the snow passed Preston by ?

I know that it now says sleet for Preston on the BBC weather......

Started to melt in Chorley about an hour ago. Last half hour the rain turned back into snow and now it's worse than ever.
Parked car then watched as it slid down the drive and onto the road!

Same here..

Went to visit someone in Chorley hospital - when i was going in at 6pm it was sleeting and when i came out at 7-30pm it had turned back into heavy snow !!

Worse than it was before the sleet !
