Is Lowe evolving?

Is Lowe evolving?

Grafting out results is fine. What pissed me off was when we would play like we are doing, whilst he was chatting shit about his philosophy, brand, and style.

Personally, I don’t think the current performances are sustainable in the long term. But in the absence of the likes of Riis, Whiteman, Brady, Cannon, Ched etc, I would hope performance levels will increase soon.

Disagree with the idea they’re not sustainable. We’ve been defensively disciplined played some good football moved the ball well and went to two tough away venues and more than matched them physically and competitively something that at times last season was missing.

We moved the ball well for 40 minutes at Bristol City. That’s it.

You can’t play well every week, and some weeks you just have to dig in and get results in an ugly way. Which is fine.

But there’s not a chance the way we’re playing at the minute is the long term plan, thankfully.

I think results may be masking things a bit. The team on paper certainly feels a bit weaker than the one that ended last season (not RL's fault, been messed about by Everton and some more shite injury luck).

I think Wednesday are poor and Sunderland felt a lucky game. However, I hope the OP is right. I think the new players have perhaps freshened things up. Like Mads, like Keane, Best has his limits at his age but the crossing is just fucking outrageous. That alone gets the attention of big clubs.

Christ, I think if he gets us within a sniff of the top 6 this season he's done well and I don't care about the brand.

I’m not sure he’s evolving…tactically it appears the same as last season so far…start of defensive home and away regardless of opposition…if we are a goal down the try and push on…make subs in the last 10 mins or not at all…no tactical subs..no change in formation and no change in style…yes we’ve got good results but that’s down to the performance of the lads giving it all on the pitch…maybe it’s due the injuries we have so will wait and see.

Read a lot of praise for back three here that were tested and beaten often by lee Gregory... tbh I'm not impressed they should've put lee Gregory in his place early on.

A good start and that can only be good for confidence. I am all for grinding out results and being pragmatic away from Home where the Home Team have to come out and attack us. In some respects the Players we have are great at that, nullify the opposition and then nick something.
He has the right approach to away games and has done well, ever since he has been here in that respect, i would imagine very few expect us to play free flowing attractive Football away from Deepdale, where points on the board are the main criteria.
It's at Deepdale where he needs to find a better balance between points and performances, i.e better performances and more points!!
It is at Deepdale where we will see just how much he has evolved.

As title suggests.

When RL first took over, there was a huge boom, the club seemed to reconnect with the fan base and many more ST were sold.

RL seems to have taken a bit of stick (warranted or not) but it seems to me that he is evolving as a manager. This system and brand that he is seemingly wed to seems to have evolved - it seems to me that he is finding different ways to win games.

Give the guy the tools.

COYW!!!
Nah. Still wearing white trainers and doing his Klopp impression when we win.
Itt’l end in tears one way or the other.

Nowt wrong with white trainers.

Some fans will winge over anything with loan, we keep being told its the worst squad we have had since promotion but we continue to defy the odds.

I dont like cardigans, think if Lowe wears one i might want him sacked - give me a break!
