No complaints from me, we are out done out fought and they played the better football. Richie Barker threw a challenge down to Westley with his game plan and we had no answer. They had us on the back foot with every chance they had, pushed on from that and won nearly all the second balls.

The warning signs were there towards the end of the first half and to go in at 0-0 half time was a result for me. Second half they really turn the screw and Gary Alexander showed why he is one of the top strikers at this level with two quality goals. Westley had no answer, our two midfield players were sitting to deep so we never really got hold of the situation for long enough periods to impose ourselves on them!

Crawley Town played us at our own game with the time wasting stuff and we moaned but if you live by the sword you die by the sword. Fair play to them they did a job on us and iv said it for a bit teams will wise up to us and we will get plenty of this shit from now on but its up to us to come back and learn from this take it on the chin admit we got outdone and react in the positive way. Thats what Crawley did after they got done at Porstmouth and that's exactly how we should react!

Agree. Barker shows like he has real promise in this game (certainly a better manager than he was a player!) Will be a lot of noise from GW tonight as he has been tactically outdone and will be smarting. Every confidence he will have us back up for Tuesday and the monkey hangers should be worried.
 
I agree. Said that on the game that they were playing us at our own game. We miss a creative midfielder as we couldn't unlock their defence and went long too often. The early yellow for Sodje didn't help as he never looked like he jumped properly after that. Monakana will have good and bad games at his age and today it didn't work for him.

Alexander was a good player. Both his goals were well taken and caused our defence problems throughout the game.

Well played Crawley I was very impressed.

Feel we will joined by Crawley in the top 6 come the end of the season.....

Our fans were kicking off big time about time wasting and diving, I think some people need to wake up. It's what we have done so far and will carry on doing as long as GW is in charge.

Spot on Steve, Gary Alexander was more of a threat than Sodje and Beavon, the early booking for nothing and a couple of warning words from the ref took the fire out of Sodje.
 
Fair enough but hardly a good advert for Div 1 football, or any standard of football for that matter.

Those inspired by the London Olympics would have been truly saddened watching todays game and let's be frank Crawley were the main culprits with their horrible brand of time wasting, play acting, harassing of officials etc.

Why can't some people just accept we were beaten by a team that on the day played better than we did?
 
I think Moose is vital to us mate totally agree. It wasent a good advert if your a purist but right from the off we make the ref wait along with the captian of the opposition why we do our touchline stuff. Straight away your winding both up! Again said a few weeks ago that i was worried that over a season will we get our fair share of right decsions? today i felt we didn't but if your winding every fucker up what do you expect.

People talk in the game the words out the Carlisle manager was at it last week, Ritchie Barker and Westley had a right do at the end. It just shows every fucker is wound up up to fuck when the play us and you saw it today. If over a season it will help or hinder us only time will tell!

Lol you can imagine what mood Westley will be in today after defeat. Knowing him it will be cold showers, twating the back of their heads and extra training tomorrow.

Spot on Surf, Wroe was to deep for me they had two players on Sodjie and our wingers were swamped with players when the ball went out wide, we had no plan B plus passing wise our players had an off day, the team need to dust there selves off and come back fighting. Fair play for putting the flags on the kop they looked excellent.
 
Westley got it wrong for me today, we needed an extra body in midfield which should have happened at half time rather than taking off our best player in the first half and just rotating a midfield that was second best.
 
Agreed with the Monakana comment, you can judge in the first 10 minutes whether he is going to be up for it or not, just didn't seem at the races today.

Also, my guess is Keane was injured today to not be included at all? Can't say I rate Buchanan much tbh, look much better when Keane is at RB and Bailey is LB.
 
thank you for saying that i worked hard on that cant believe they did not get blown away. Those Morrison clothes pegs are excellent..... left them up for Tuesday game hope there still there come Tuesday lol
 
bubble burst well and truly...today we were awful...worst than any performance last season, players had no idea and no fight in them, plan A seems to be hoofball in the extreme and wack it long to sodje for him to nod on for beavon when that didnt work we had no plan B. today we were beaten by what basically is a non league team with a fraction of our support and budget...yet they had more fight, more ideas, more skill than westleys team ever will. And dont give me that were still gelling crap. Anyone thinking were going to be in and around the playoffs needs to have a serious rethink

To say that was worse than any performance than last season is both truly laughable and truly insulting..

I agree with that mate should have thrown Jack king and stuck five in midfield could not understand him not doing that early doors we needed to upset their game plan, we needed to keep possession better it just kept breaking down giving them chance to get us on and keep us on the back foot all the time. We needed to get hold of the game but it never happend
