Why is it always the manager with you, and not the players, not one player got higher than a 6 in my book, but still Westley is a cock eh Billy.

Bad day at the office, missing key players and Crawley played a good game. We move on and learn from it.

Who picks the team, sets out the tactics, makes the substitutions???

I thought this bunch of hand picked winners were what we needed and would be above any blame as they are Westley Warriors, can't have it both ways Sainty!!!!

Obviously I didn't enjoy the defeat. I think that Westley and his new squad are on a steep learning curve, so the odd bad display should be expected along the way.

The clueless part was inferred by me, going off your rant about Westley's tactics today.
 
I think we showed them too much respect today, gave them too much room, and backed off too much, (mind you they probably didn't want to put a tackle in with that ref) their players did their job by marking Sodje out of the game, I think we needed someone to create havoc while they were marking Sodje out of it.

What rant, we are 0-0 at the break, Westley changes things round and we were then very poor second half and 2 down with the late goal taking some of the harshness off a very poor performance, what rant????? the truth perhaps.
 
Can't believe how hysterical some on here are being about todays defeat. Some people really believe we have devine right to beat everyone in this league!! And if we don't then lets have a go at Westley or a particular player etc! Crawley appear to be getting little to no credit for winning today!!! Just maybe we lost cos Crawley on the day were the better side!! The expectancy levels are OTT at times

Crawley coped so easily with us second half, we again changed things for the worse when Amoo came on and Welsh was pushed back moving Wroe back again, Jeff should have had the "hook" much earlier, no shape, no idea and no plan on how to get back into the game and no fucker shouting for a wave from Westley, what a bunch of fickle fuckers you Westley wankers really are.

Thats what Crawley did after they got done at Porstmouth and that's exactly how we should react!

Good post Surf! My main worry is if we don't win on tuesday is how a section of our fans will react. The expectancy by some to win everygame is bloody crazy at times!!

I actually thought about yourself today Billy. The team were done over by a better team and I had an image of yourself sat there punching the air in delight.

If you cudnt see it needed changing at ht then you confirm my opinion you know nothing about footy . Agree it didnt work , but it usually does for GW.

I'm up and down with this lot, both surf and billy mac make good points.
Today was poor, the Crawley team looked set up better, bigger and stronger. which disappointed me.
However we accept it, learn from it and move on Tuesday and three points

Oh the ref was shite and our liner, (IP) was a built like bloody superman with little or no knowlwdge of the offside rule. Oh for a little fat liner on Tuesday.

Surely it's not the fact that we got beaten (by a better team on the day) but the manner in which we got beaten (tactics, performances etc).
Surf is right - it depends how Westley and the team react to being second best. We will see on Tuesday.

So what , one bad game doesn't make him a crap manager. I must admit I knew flipper and yourself would be back with a vengeance. Of course , Rankine , PNE4 life and Danny will be on soon . Delight in defeat!

No that's untrue they won and were adequate. They won away from home , I don't care how bad Bury were. Today was a much worse performance but that happens. See how we play against Hartlepool .

I agree with the part I have highlighted. However at Bury we weren't 'adequate' but 'lucky' - in fact it reminded me of the 7 game winning spell under Brown
