Moving quick, fair play.
Shame for the lad as hoped he’d settle in as number two and push Iversen.
Best move all round I guess.

Right move the player and the club.
If Dai is taking your spot your time is up.

Hopefully means we are in the market for another keeper to challenge Iversen.

Was never going to displace a fit Iversen, but to fall behind Dai in the pecking order to the extent that we're offering Dai terms and letting him go speaks volumes. No hard feelings against him, it just didn't work out so all the best to him.
As infamously "good around the place" as Dai may be - clearly good enough to warrant keeping on - Walton will blatantly need replacing with a competent second-choice. Iversen getting injured for a lengthy period was a big reason why we fell to pieces, second only to Armstrong being recalled, if we're calling on Dai or a youth keeper without Iversen available then we are in trouble.

Had a horror show for us v Middlesbrough away but there must be a semi decent keeper in there somewhere.
His confidence appeared to be shot to pieces in that game, which doesn't help..... especially for a goalkeeper.
Good luck to him and fair play to North End for acting quickly.

Tried his best but don't think he inspired much confidence when you saw the way the defense would behave when he played and how quickly Dai Cornell stepped up again
Signing him proved to be a mistake, but I appreciate that since Heckingbottom has come in we do try to resolve our mistakes quickly.
Still, all the best to him! I hope he has a great career back up in Scotland

I think we will bring in another keeper as 2nd choice to compete with iversen then Dai 3rd choiceHope Dai won’t be No2 Gk, nothing against him, but we do need a better No2 GK.
Maybe we are hard wired to be cynical with events in recent years but maybe we are entering a new era.Fair play to him and the best of luck back at Dundee.
The cynic in me says it’ll be Dai as No2 and Stowell as 3rd choice.
