So very sad, Janet was a lovely lady and an absolute credit to the club. My heart goes out to her family and her dear friend Leanne. RIP Janet you will be missed a lot.

Incredibly sad news. I feel lucky that I can say Janet was my friend, even if just through work then her breaking news messsges through the years and seeing her on PNE.
All my thoughts are with her family. Janet was pure Gentry, a legend

What an amazing woman Janet was. She could light up a room, I always looked forward to seeing her on north end. She had the best seat in the house on the town end, hope they put a permanent plaque on the seat in her honour.

I often got the Leyland bus to away games back in the Phil brown/ Graham Westley era and Janet was the first one to welcome you on board and built a great little community.

My thoughts are with her family, she was such a kind and caring woman. PNE through and through.

She springs to mind every time I hear Sweet Caroline and will even more so now. For those that aren’t from Leyland, Janet used to love getting a sing song going on coach 1 and that was one of her standards.
