Away games simply won't be the same without Janet. Not only did she have a burning passion for the club and was an absolute star for them, she said was a thoroughly lovely and decent person. Always so helpful, approachable and knowledgeable and I think the number of people here who are not only aware of who she is but how brilliant she was reflects what we have lost tonight.
I shall miss our brief chats on away games and she will be in my thoughts on Gentry Day. Thoughts with her family and friends at this time.

Really sad. A lovely person and one of the faces who would always have time for a chat anywhere in the country watching North End.
Will be missed by many, thoughts with her family at this sad time

She was indeed, we always used to say hello at every away game.
My thoughts are with the family and all her friends at this sad time.
Sad day, she’ll be missed by from I can tell absolutely loads of you, really lovely tributes on here and on twitter as well which is amazing and I’m sure her family will appreciate it.
Janet’s my wife’s aunty, she was north end through and through, lived and breathed it. Can definitely vouch for her love of Sweet Caroline, I lost count of the amount of times she asked me to ask the DJ to play it at my wedding (they eventually did!)
RIP Janet x

I didn’t know Janet but I had heard of her which speaks volumes in itself.
I’m sure she’ll be looking down on PNE and watching over us.

Along with Ilene I guess. Was so difficult reading this tonight as my dad was struggling. Hope Janet and he are having a brew and a chin wag about Northend. X
Where it began
I can't begin to know when
But then I know it's growin' strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who'd have believe you'd come along?
RIP "Madge" not just a fan, but Gentry.
