Apologies I meant 400kThe deal to sell him to Hannover has already been agreed…
The medical was being undertaken in midweek.
LEP is saying that the fee is £800k , Hannover saying that it is £400k

The Armstrong situation will mean that they are hanging fire to see what happens…Things appear to have turned a bit flat which is in a sense a ridiculous thing to be saying at 4 th in the league. All to quiet for me from the bean counters. What are Messrs Riddler and Penrose actually doing. We all know with 2/3 additions we can give this our best shot for years.Get your arses in gear Penrose and Riddler.
That will be hindering things in terms of bringing in a new addition to replace him should that be required…

Know its only one game but i think Thor looked better in the Whiteman role than Thompson did.
We will definitely need a plan there even assuming Armstong returns

We need 2/3 regardless of if Armstrong comes back. The Armstrong situation will mean that they are hanging fire to see what happens…

That's the thing my friend, I have resigned myself to the fact that he is not coming back. Sucks obviously, but I do have faith in Hecky and company we can bring someone in before the window closes who has a similar mold, even if more than likely it will be another loan. Some one just posted on the Armstrong thread that he got 8 out of 10 in the Liverpool Echo for today’s performance ,
best player for Everton….
He ain’t coming back.
Biggest gripe/issue with loan players: They are not really ours!

To be fair we don't know what the conversations have been between Moysey and Hecky regarding the likelihood of Armstrong returning later this month or not.
Only the Manager will have a clear understanding of what will happen once the African players return to Everton and how the current injuries progress as has been mentioned. I am sure they will be in regular contact and Moysey has already expressed his affection for the club he played for and managed, so I am hopeful he will allow the lad to come back if squad numbers allow.
Keep the faith and trust in Hecky whatever he is faced with when the time comes. So far he has surprised me with the quality of players signed eg; Pol Valentin who was the best player on the pitch last night for PNE .
Keep the faith.

The way Wigan set-up was a big part of that. There was little to no space forward and centrally, and any time it did go into them, they struggled to keep it. Which is why a lot of the passing went wide because Mads and McCann would both drift out into the space which was out wide.Know its only one game but i think Thor looked better in the Whiteman role than Thompson did.

There was rarely any passing options to make those line breaking passes. They should've started to play longer and more direct earlier.

If Armstrong doesn’t come back I would hope DM would offer us a loan of someone who would strengthen our squad in whatever position PH prefers.
As long as we can use these loans to reach our destination.
Because of the owners we find ourselves in this crap situation every season where we need to loan 4/5 players only to see them go back improved for another championship club to buy them outright. We don’t gain anything except finishing mid table.
This cycle definitely needs to break!

Couldn't disagree more.Wouldn't be happy with the Irish lad we're apparently signing. It's not what we need at this momentin time! Injured and won't be available till April. We need players to take us up, we can't afford to piss about. Other teams around us are starting to sign decent players to get them up!
He's a signing for the future and an exciting one at that - probably the best young player to come out of Ireland in years. Pre-injury Premier League clubs were tracking him - if he hadn't had the injury it's doubtful he'd be available to us. Obviously, there's more uncertainty given his injury but if we're going to take a punt this is a good one to take in my opinion.

Moyes only cares about Everton. If he feels he doesn’t have the squad depth to loan Armstrong back out, then he won’t be loaning anybody out. Our plight means nothing to him if it affects Everton’sIf Armstrong doesn’t come back I would hope DM would offer us a loan of someone who would strengthen our squad in whatever position PH prefers.

No doubt Derby and other teams will now set up just like Wigan as we don’t seem to know how to play against that system. The way Wigan set-up was a big part of that. Not forgetting that if we don’t get Armstrong back, any potential replacement from Everton would by definition be deemed inferior. They don’t exactly have a surplus of players anyway.
I suppose that the argument to that is that Armstrong has set a high bar and they could have players in other positions that could do a good job for us.
It is a bit deflating though depending on many loans just to keep us in this league, specially if they are decent, only to see them leave at the end of their loan.
That would be nice ……If Armstrong doesn’t come back I would hope DM would offer us a loan of someone who would strengthen our squad in whatever position PH prefers.

Derby will probably be a tough matchup for us as they are a similar style. Unlikely we'll have close to 70% possession though. No doubt Derby and other teams will now set up just like Wigan as we don’t seem to know how to play against that system.
I don't think teams will massively change the way they play to go against us. That's been something we've struggled with plenty before this season. But now do have a couple of individuals who can make something happen, which we didn't have previously.
