Alan Browne on babysitting duties in the Mickey Mouse Cup for the U21s. Genuinely hurts seeing this

Still a regular in the first team so can’t see him being available anytime soon.I've always like Luke O'Nien, good player and decent lad. Wonder what his contractual situation is at Sunderland?

Tell us what you really feel 😂😂He’s crap
In fairness to Hecky the profile of player we were bringing in had changed slightly - Mills, Kenny, Offiah, Small, Gibson, Devine, Moran were all youngish players with potential to improve.Looking at Bradford's team, the average age seems high. I really hope Grezza doesn't have a preference for 'safe' experience like Heckingbottom.
That strategy puts you right in the shit if you get relegated and gives you pretty much no chance of progression, unless you have a fluke season (like under Irvine).
Were they his signings though? In fairness to Hecky the profile of player we were bringing in had changed slightly - Mills, Kenny, Offiah, Small, Gibson, Devine, Moran were all youngish players with potential to improve.
Leroy is only 26 as well.
Not sure were this 'safe' experience has come from to be fair. The profile of player we have brought in under Hecky was much better. Just a shame his tactics and management style plus his ability to coach and motivate players was a load of rubbish.
Manager is heavily involved in the decisions on signings and talking to them himself, so he'd be a co-sign on all the players. Whether they were ones he proposed himself, or ones proposed by the recruitment team to meet certain needs, we won't know. But he signs off on them all and they wouldn't sign if he didn't want them. Were they his signings though?
Or were Valentin, Smith, Thompson, Clarke, Lang, and Burgzorg his type of picks? Won't know for sure, but... he flat out refused to play Moran, and dropped Offiah and Small whenever possible. Doesn't suggest he championed their signings.
The younger signings seem more opportunistic. Kenny especially.
A lot of the new signings have been pretty vocal about signing because of Hecky, particularly Kenny, Mills and Clarke, which suggests he was in part involved in the scouting process. Were they his signings though?

I'm not sure it means he scouted them, just talked to them and sold them the move. You used to always see Alex Neil attending other games with Ridsdale, didn't seem like that with Heckingbottom and McCall.A lot of the new signings have been pretty vocal about signing because of Hecky, particularly Kenny, Mills and Clarke, which suggests he was in part involved in the scouting process.
Burgzorg was almost definitely driven by Tom Reeves
