Probably our best ever buy for what we paid if that makes sense. He stood up in any game, big games, derbies , shit games.

Massively, was because of his “relaxed” jogging running style, or the fact he was genuinely composed that people would be obtusely idiotic about…

Mads to a lesser degree suffered the same fate.

Used to love how well he could hold the ball too, with his back to a player for a fella without much height he didn’t half protect the ball well, had great feet too. Probably one of my favourites of the last 10 years for sure.

I still think it's too early to be writing off Gibbs. I couldn't really give a shit about Norwich fan's opinions. They've spent shit loads on their midfield over recent seasons, and are obviously more possession based than we are.

If he can contribute defensively and successfully recycle the ball to Leroy and Devine, he'll do.

Pearson, Gally, and DJ is easily the best midfield since McKenna & O'Neil. Since I've been alive, only the 00-01 midfield under Moyes and the 04-06 midfield under BD has bettered it.
