Cannot agree there Redz, watch regular live Scottish Championship throughout the season,
No one team stood out for me as being above top 6 League 1.

likewise, from up here watch some scottish football. Never mind the champ... most scottish prem teams would struggle in the english championship..
 
Don't watch any Scottish football but I watch the Championship and most games are poor and most teams play the same boring football, with players not good enough to play it. I can't imagine it being too big a jump for some of the Scottish teams to play crap football in the Championship.

The top scorer in that league was a 37yr old who was released by Cheltenham after 12 months. It's League Two standard, with MK Dons rejects making team of the year.
 
There is no point comparing currently championship team in Scotland and England due to the massive difference in budgets, no doubt if some where in the championship in England they would have a better budget to attract better players

That's pretty accurate, I would say having watched since 76 that Celtic & Rangers lower to mid Prem then Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts & Dundee Utd Championship and rest of Prem L1 and top 3-4 of Championship lower L1.

Thought I'd pop back in one last time to say hi. Good luck for next season hope you get off to a good start.

We will find out 4th Aug who we have in the Europa league group stage qualifying playoff (21st & 28th Aug). 🤞 for that as more cash but will still get group stage Conference if things go badly.

End of year 1 of 3 of total team rebuild. Cup final was eye bleeding but at least he finally used plan b (five at the back) and didn't get pumped again. The outcome and the better euro place/ extra cash for continuing the rebuild was what was important for now, pretty football is for when we have further strengthened the team or playing lower quality teams.

12 out the door this summer with approx 3-4 good ones coming in. Think chairman will give Thelin (manager) another £2-3m (this window) to continue the rebuild, but cost effective as group stage is worth approx £5-8m for us.
Of the few in the door so far Nicolas Milanovic looks like a really good bit of business at approx £400k. Left footed right winger just voted Australia's player of the season and had 12 goals and 6 assists from 28 games so 🤞.

Best of luck gents it's been fun chatting with you guys. Will pop back from time to time and will look out for your results. Think I might just have adopted a team south of the border 🙂👍

All the best to you Suffolk Red and to Aberdeen for next season. I’ve always had a soft spot for Aberdeen since my youth and the days of Willie Miller and Eric Black 👍
 
What do folk reckon will happen with Okkels now if no one comes in for him.
Will he just join in pre season and go on the Spain trip?
