Leon Cort

Very pleased that we've got him. It would've made sense for Howe to recall him.

As well as being important defensively, Cort has also contributed reasonably well up front when chasing games.
 
Slightly surprised, I have to say.

I'd have thought Howe would have at least wanted a look at him, especially as our centre-halfs are looking none-too-solid at the minute.

Yes but if you're going to pump it forward late in the game then Cort is the bigger player and has better aerial ability.

That said, he's nothing like as bad as some Burnley fans would have you believe and as I said above, on current form he'd be in with a chance of a game for us.

Surely he's better than Carlisle?! (at football and as a 'political pundit' I should think;-))
 
Delighted.

If we had Big Leon at the start of the season then we would probably be a good 9 points better off. No way would he have made some of the mistakes Morgan and St Ledger have which cost us early in the season.
