Can't see Posh selling him for any less than around £2m either though, and I doubt we'd blow all our Lonners cash on one player.

Shaky will look very foolish indeed if Lonergan goes to a premiership club for the sort of fee being quoted.
I could see us going for Jason Brown from Blackburn. We had a deal in place a while ago where we could have signed him on loan if Lonergan got injured. Richard Wright is available as well, and on a free. Can't blame Lonergan for going to West Brom, they will offer him a good wage, and Carson is likely to attract interest from bigger clubs if he produces the form he is capable of.

He's better than Green, Carson AND Joe Lewis.
If he gets a run of games in the Premiership for West Brom he'll be in the England squad before long.
