I’ve got a great idea, Liam is absolutely turd on the left, he uses his right foot literally to stand on, let’s play him on the right and leave 2 right footed central defenders twiddling theirs thumbs on the bench all game. He is so bad on the right , Iets move him to the left to hold on to a winning draw, oops where he capitulates and gifts the opposition 2 goals. Well done Heckybollocks.
 
Ultimately that is another result on the manager.

As rediclous the signings on the screen where, they didnt pick two left footed CB and one of which is a player who everyone knows isn't up to it.

His reason for signing Thompson was because he wanted ballance with right and left footers.

We played well at times and the fans really got behind them but once again the opposition make changes which impact the game, whilst ours have the total opposite.

The failure to get Browne over the line and the failure to make any effort to address the obvious weaknesses at CB is the final straw.

We need the new ownership to have a total clear out at this football club starting with the management team, recruitment team and Ridsdale.

The fact we have spent a record amount of money and are still left with gapping gaps due to a total lack of strategy or planning is unforgivable.

We have made some decent signings and Mills looked the real deal tonight but then you consider we now only have one contracted centre forward.

If we get any more injuries in midfield we are knackered.

From a really good starting place this lot have managed to make a complete balls up of it again.

Gally said it on radio Blackburn that anything other than a win on Saturday is unthinkable and it is but until we get this takeover completed we will never get anywhere.
 
Name checks Stanley for "the first goal" then no mention of Lindsay.

The rest of it totally predictable.

 
Well, he’s certainly made his bed now. I think it’s probably fair enough to give him until the international break. But with the defense the way it is I don’t see how it’s possible for things to turn around

My concern with that is how far will we be cut adrift? 4 games till then.

Blackburn - possible win.

Watford - I’d say a loss, maybe a lucky draw.

Lincoln - I’d say is the best opportunity for 3 points.

QPR likely a loss.

That’s a likely points tally of 4-7 points from the first 8 games.

Sackable - I think it’s a matter of when, not if.

Yes, I agree. We all know how difficult it is to recover once set adrift and the rot sets in - confidence completely vanishes and everything goes pear shaped. Well, we never know - football is a funny game, as they say. But we’re certainly not laughing at the moment…
