Bermondsey Mile is where I’d go
My first away day at Millwall. Want to have a bite to eat before game. Are there any pubs near London Bridge that are best to avoid? I was looking at The Anchor or The Old Thameside Inn.

You can’t go wrong around London Bridge as long as you don’t mind paying 7 quid a pint.
Many thanks. Not far away from that in York to be fair. You can’t go wrong around London Bridge as long as you don’t mind paying 7 quid a pint.

Borough Market is another option with a bunch of different food places. Maltby Street Market too. Vinegar Yard also. Spoilt for choice really
Nice one, very helpful, thanks.

Am very thankful for this thread.
I’m in Town on the 28th to see The Frank and Walters and I hadn’t realised we were at The Den.
Looks like Our Peg has given it the green light….

Anchors quite nice, had lunch there a couple of weeks ago
Wasn’t sure if you had the kids in tow but just means you aren’t stuck with a pub menu potentially and a bit more choice/stuff to visit before you head to the ground
