Just an update, Northendrtops got in touch with me last night via his son. He lives in Lytham, with an 01253 std code. A house he has lived in for years.
Vernon Boots came from Chorley way.
So he never was an alter ego. Just banned on a whim, no infraction, no warning.
As you called it wrong I think he should be reinstated, what you think mods?

Well that clears that up then, some bloke Nobber dosen't know gets in touch and says he lives somewhere else, so it must be true.😀 Besides. who has actually confirmed it was VB? I'm sure the mods have just said it was a 'previously banned poster'.
I trust our Mods to make the right decision, I believe they have made the right decision based on things we don't know, but lets be honest Nobber knows best.................

Not very forthcoming these mods are they! I'm very confident that this guy was not a previous poster at all, so why was he banned and not infracted? I think he was an older guy who had just found the forum and got carried away. Is it a case more of WHO you upset rather than what reality?

It may turn out it wasn't VB my mate, I mean a PM from a stranger is very good evidence, but the mods have never said it was him, on the open forum anyway, so who knows........
