It doesn't matter what you, me or anyone else thinks. Hemmings and PR are looking for a cheap name that isn't covered in stains. He's cheap, he's a name and he hasn't cocked up anywhere else. Simple as. Boxes ticked.

Davies spent too much money and left us in the lurch, Alexander hasn't got the personality and Unsworth is just not liked for some reason.

It's either ex top pro Flitcroft, shit stained 2nd div never did anything in the game a.n.y other manager or big name who made a mess of a job somewhere else.

My money's on Flitcroft. I've got a feeling that fleetwood boss won't want to come here just now as fleetwood are definitely on the up.

You can't have a reason to appoint him as being 'he hasn't fucked up anywhere else' when he hasn't been anywhere else!

has has got top level playing experience over a long career, as has Jansen. I think the young lads would respect him. When was the last time our experienced players respected a manager anyway?

I guess it would only be like any other manager going into a dressing room having to earn the respect of the players- like Moyes going to Everton being a lower League manager and having to handle egos.

the thing that would be interesting with this would be what role there would be for Unsworth or Alexander? Would they want to stay? Would Flitcroft feel threatened by their presence?

I agree Raefil- re Chorley- the rogue accountant that ran off with 50k....... trev could just give 50k from pne to Chorley owning both clubs and the smaller club is sorted out! Bizarre!

Apparently we`ve got a class squad at this level, and according to, IMO, a large part of the forum, it would practically pick itself , then walk this division given a bit of confidence.

Nothing against Flitcroft but Ive just told 2 of my mates this news and both were gutted and so was I. I think fans would want Brown back ahead of this!!

This is true. Billy actually wants it but has turned us down because we've offered him a lower wage than he was on the last time he was here! But there's always a chance that either Hemmings or Davies are bluffing and one of them will give in to the demands.

To be honest raefil i dont really care what my reputation is on here.I am a lifelong pne fan who is fortunate enough to be in a position where i get bits of info and sometimes i put it on here but what i do put on is always facts and not idol speculation but not everything comes off cos thats football!!
