Tbh, he's not wrong about Gelhardt. The lad looked a real talent when he played for Wigan against us a couple of years back, I'd happily take him on loan.

Sadly his lad Odgaard, despite scoring just one goal last season, was already on loan in the Netherlands by the time of recording.

TaxiSteve, meanwhile, continues as confused as ever, as they talk about the failing attempt to loan in Delap, immediately wondering why we don't try and loan any Premier league U23s...
 
Gonna give the whole thing a go and make a note of the dumb shit he says

1) "Playing 3-5-2, you've picked 5 predominantly defensive players." Literally played Barky rwb who then went up front in the second half.
2) "Ched Evans, Riis and Harrop would be my front 3." Excuse me the fuck?
3) They've literally said that Barker, Horgan and Ginnelly were good enough based off literally 1 run they all made. Literally 1 run each.
4) They said Andre Green had a good second half of the season once he moved to Charlton.
5) "Gerrard Bowen" is how they refer to Jarrod Bowen.
6) "Signing Sinclair unsettled Davies and Pearson." Pearson said in his FTF interview that one of his major reasons for leaving was the lack of signing big names. Seems like signing Sinclair would have had the opposite effect.
7) Connor Simpson was ruined by the coaching staff asking him to play with his back to goal, was off to the Prem otherwise

Oh God, he's on the 'we missed out on Baah' train. By the time we saw him playing for the Rochdale first team, clubs bigger than us knew about him, you daft twat.

I think he has the belief that all players with potential are bound to fulfil it, like of course after 3 years every player will be worth a tidy profit! And he hasn't cottoned onto the fact that young players go for inflated fees because of their potential compared to their actual ability. So when they don't make it, you can still lose significant amounts.
