No Trundle the almighty piss is being taken out of you. I would imagine the Trader Concept was mentioned because it remains the only way the club can generate profit for re-investing. If not then inform everyone of your alternative plan? Should be interesting.

As for your comment about being simplistic? Most things in life are unless you are gullible enough to listen to those spouting off their esoteric knowledge. Ultimately "football is a simple game made over complex by those who should know better." Quotation by the greatest manager of all time, Bill Shankly.

Ive got a plan for the club called the winner concept:

All you do is win all your games and after 3 seasons we will have won the Prem and the Champions League. Absolutely no idea why Ridsdale hasnt implemented it yet, Ive sent him loads of snapchats.

Essentially the depth of the "Trader Concept"
 
Shankly was good for his time an'all, but there's a reason why managers tend to become antiquated when they don't move with the times... What was successful 20 years ago doesn't work the same once everyone has studied and adapted.

Talking about Pep's 4-3-3 and then spouting off about football being simple...

The point you miss Hunter Lionheart is why did Rochdale know about him when Palacee released him but North End didn't? Same applies to Hull City signing Bowen from Hereford for peanuts.

Meanwhile look at the garbage signed by North End. Does this thought never occur to you?

Clearly, Hunter, the concepts of play being enforced on players by Neil were so i tellectually demanding that they didn't understand what he was talking about.

Tell me what is your understanding of the new concept about to be unleashed called the rotating hexagon?

Of course. There are hundreds of youth players released every season. Can't just hoover them all up, and our scouting and analytical infrastructure is underfunded. Beet's 'team' is a bunch of uni students last I heard, and before that?

I'd love to see us spend more on a full time recruitment team. But do you think Trev would ever sign off on it? He won't even treat us as a business in terms of the first team!

No idea, I'm no tactical genius, though I'm sure I could have a Google and get a baseline understanding, as I'm sure you have. Do you think Shankly would have called it simple though?

Thanks Trundle you fall upon your own sword. You have no alternative plan you can propose.

Hunter are you seriously trying to tell me Rochdale have a superior scouting system to that of North End? They knew about Baah and we didn't. There are no excuses.

How do you think resources are allocated? You are aware they are finite right?

Look at Dolan as an example. Why do you think Rovers got to him first? Because they'd played youth football against him already. He was on the radar of their coaching staff.

I don't know the story of Baah signing for Rochdale, but do you believe every club in the country has a dossier on every single youth player? Or do they come down to the circumstances of who they've seen, who a scout has been able to go and watch etc?
 
Nobody tell them Baah has just signed on loan for Doncaster today, or they’ll have an aneurysm…
