Please could you point me to where Woods' attempts have been well publicised? No, you are mouthing it off trying, as they say in Essex, to give it the big one. What Woods has tried to do has been well publicised. Now I'm challenging you to tell everyone what acts of significance you have proposed to the club? And why are you so defensive?

Oh ye of little faith. It's like this it goes back over the last 30 odd years. You are obviously a new kid on the block. You don't know of the phone ins and shareholders meetings that became almost legendary! Please could you point me to where Woods' attempts have been well publicised?

Thank's old boy you've confirmed you've basically done the square root of sweet f a. In that case you are not qualified to criticise someone who actually got off his ass to do something.Give it a rest for God's sake. As Im sure they say in whichever part of the Home Counties you live in, you're a tedious, repetitive bore.

No, I am aware. But I'd like to see where the details of these are documented so that I can take a closer look.Oh

You did state that they were well documented, please could you provide a link?

And bang on cue our old buddy re-surfaces to unleash his "killer" scene from The Office of which I am a great fan. The problem is your main MB Oracle, Burgundy, has been ridiculed beyond belief (much of it self inflicted). Neither he nor many of you have much remaining credibility.
Now back to the real subject matter which is not sarcasm against Woods but North End. Be my guest and outline your solution to the current problems.
From memory I seem to recall you being in the know about the youth team If correct tell me what action you took with the club to try and dissuade them from giving Dolan away?

I do
That's what it seems to me, I thought I'd give him a chance to outline at least one positive achievement he's made for pne or its fansSpent 30 years heckling and never managed to do anything at all. A life's work, as a meaningless punchline.

Can we add up the number of times this poster has completely missed the joke, and refer back to my previous health concerns? JD and JK, now Ron- clearly aping your own mannerisms back to you, mocking you in an unsubtle manner, and yet you're still acting like you've won some great victory?
I'm neither a fan of pointless gestures nor arrogant enough to believe that I know the answer to PNE's woes. You, on the other hand, are clearly addicted to the idea that you know best and deluded enough to think that those with the power are swayed by your howling at the moon shtick. Whatever floats your boat I guess.Thank's old boy you've confirmed you've basically done the square root of sweet f a. Try the LEP over the last 30 years. That should get you started. Then you can try to track down Gary Hickson's radio Lancs phone ins over the years. Then you can check out various forum meetings. No, I am aware. But I'd like to see where the details of these are documented so that I can take a closer look.

I'm just curious, whoever you are (and I don't know who you are, I assure you). Leaving aside your knowledge of the 'goings on' behind the scenes at Deepdale HQ , you must have an awful lot of money if you could even in theory stick up £100,000 as a wager. But those that do that kind of thing don't usually try to utilise a football fan's message board to do it.Try the LEP over the last 30 years. That should get you started. I mean it's Liverpool/drugs/shotgun/carpark territory, is it not and Ron Burgundy is just an ordinary bloke as far as I can guess, unless he really does live in San Diego and has a bank account in the Cayman Islands. (his name proabably isn't Ron Burgundy either I'm guessing)
So the point I'm making is..if you put your 'shotgun' back in the bag, the Forum Mouth (Burgundy? I actually thought that was raefil BTW) might agree to talk to you in a constructive manner.

If you are clueless then leave it to those who know better. As for the club being swayed? Clearly they aren't as evidenced by the 5 year plan submitted to them a decade ago. They completely ignored the basic Trader Concept theme which is why the Premiership hasn't been delivered. Brentford embraced those ideas and achieved the Promised Land. I watched their exploits v Arsenal last night with extreme envy.I'm neither a fan of pointless gestures nor arrogant enough to believe that I know the answer to PNE's woes. It never crossed your mind that the correct strategy would have by now returned PNE to the top flight. Could I implement and oversee this? Too damned right I could!
If I were CEO the club would undergo a revolution
1. McAvoy fired.
2. Thompson and Gallagher fired.
3.Harrison fired.
4. Ainsworth installed as new manager with Unsworth his assistant.
5.Hoyland appointed head of youth system. Possibility Alan Smart as his assistant.
6.Ripley, Hudson, Rafferty, Huntington, Hughes, Lindsay, Browne, Johnson, Maguire, Evans, Sinclair, Barkhuizen cleared out.
7.£6 million transfer pot made available to win promotion and in this depressed market it can be done.
8.Marketing dept. Turned upside down by appointing a high flyer from a top 100 FTSE organisation.
9. Formalised ongoing meetings with the fans.
We can only dream so fear not as this would never happen all of which brings us back to a club going absolutely nowhere! Enjoy yet another mediocre ride before the inevitable relegation finally hits.

Sounds pricy. Only one man you'd need to persuade to make it happen though. Think he lives on the Isle of Man. I'm rooting for you. Go charm him.
Tbh Andrew, I have grave doubts as to whether you'd be capable of running a bath, let alone a football club. 30 years of getting nowhere with assorted club leaders, suggests a less than effective straegy on your part.If you are clueless then leave it to those who know better. Realistic nice try but I'm no idiot. I come on here in the spirit of debate. Then the MB collective unleashes themselves with a tirade of ridicule and vitriol. I am therefore forced to defend myself and as you've see with your oracle, Burgundy, I'm more than capable. This mouth has now been left discredited. Other than that I would much prefer to discuss the issues and propose my solutions to the club's problems.I'm just curious, whoever you are (and I don't know who you are, I assure you). All things considered you should be targeting the irrational baying mob and instructing them to enter into constructive debate.
As for a take over? I am not yet at the stage of fronting a Curtis Warren type investment.
One does wonder however if Ridsdale has yet approached the wealthiest man ever to come from Preston who is reputedly worth £8 billion?
