Oh dear I guess the fact that I've worked for US multinationals rules.me out. Brands worked on where Hellmanns, Knorr, Astral, Aveeno, Dentinox just to name a few. I think even you will admit that managing such brands, some of which are global, would more than equip me to run Preston North End. I must admit however that at my age I could now possibly only invest the last four years of any working life. Still, that would be time to deliver the Promised Land.Tbh Andrew, I have grave doubts as to whether you'd be capable of running a bath, let alone a football club. 30 years of getting nowhere with assorted club leaders, suggests a less than effective straegy on your part.
Don't worry however as it will never happen. Instead you have "Teflon" Pete in charge who I have previously supported but no longer.

Give me strength! Don't you get it, you are reduced from the former MB Oracle to ridiculed status and it was self inflicted on your part. Now, be off with you!Still waiting for your proof of funds Andrew.

You'll be waiting a long time for anything that has any substance from that cretin.
Literally, everyone right is laughing at him.
He's so delusional it's worrying.
The biggest clown we've seen on here.
And bang on cue our old buddy re-surfaces to unleash his "killer" scene from The Office of which I am a great fan. The problem is your main MB Oracle, Burgundy, has been ridiculed beyond belief (much of it self inflicted). Neither he nor many of you have much remaining credibility.
Now back to the real subject matter which is not sarcasm against Woods but North End. Be my guest and outline your solution to the current problems.
From memory I seem to recall you being in the know about the youth team If correct tell me what action you took with the club to try and dissuade them from giving Dolan away?
We could get on if you like The Office.
Listened to the second episode of your podcast this morning you'll be glad to know.
Actually don't disagree with a lot of what you have to say, and I flick between being bored and entertained with how you portray yourself. Still, after 13 years, I'm trying to work out if it's a serious mental illness or a very well maintained act.
We've, mainly, got past that antagonism though.
Given your professional experience, I'm surprised you've not approached the richest man from Preston yourself with a consortium proposal to buy out Hemmings. If it's the hedge fund manager that I think you're referring to, I'm sure he'd be all ears were you to propose a buyout with you as the new CEO.Oh dear I guess the fact that I've worked for US multinationals rules.me out. Having seen how he fails to grasp humour here, I refuse to believe he actually enjoyed the Office, and can only assume he decided to say he's a fan of any comedy without a laugh track.

Hellmanns, Knorr, Astral, Aveeno, Dentinox have no clue who he is. Management? Try Management-Lackey.

Here you go again. Ifvyouvsay you've been the marketing manager of Astra Zeneca I will take it at face value. I did once reveal the name of the company I was working for (huge mistake) which resulted in me being questioned by a senior director about my involvement with a football club after some cretin had contacted them to unleash all manner of accusations. This is the sort of nonsense I've had to endure over the years. Please show proof of positions at these companies, or we can't take this evidence
You know a little about me and what I've done so I would now like you to extend the courtesy of informing me what work you have ever done and I don''t want proof.

I know what the 'MB collective' is like when it turns on you, believe me I've had that myself several times.Realistic nice try but I'm no idiot. I come on here in the spirit of debate. Then the MB collective unleashes themselves with a tirade of ridicule and vitriol. I am therefore forced to defend myself and as you've see with your oracle, Burgundy, I'm more than capable. This mouth has now been left discredited. Other than that I would much prefer to discuss the issues and propose my solutions to the club's problems.
All things considered you should be targeting the irrational baying mob and instructing them to enter into constructive debate.
As for a take over? I am not yet at the stage of fronting a Curtis Warren type investment.
One does wonder however if Ridsdale has yet approached the wealthiest man ever to come from Preston who is reputedly worth £8 billion?
I think the way PNE is run could be improved. Who can say if your suggestions (above) would work? They might. Most would probably say bollocks, but most people say that because it's the easy/populist line. However, it is all fantasy football until someone steps in with the money to take the club out of the hands of the only real benefactor willing to put in £6-7 million a year, which is an awful lot of money to find, notwithstanding the fact he's a billionaire.

Your the one with ridiculed status as you're refusing to follow through with the bet and prove the foods.
Must be the landing a plane all over again, congrats on rising like a phoenix to being the MB laughing stock again.
Bravo Sir Bravo.

Why? You're the topic here, not me.
I was asking about the companies you'd previously worked for, that you were just bragging about. There is a huge difference in salaries and responsibilities between roles that could all be described as management, you see.
The fellow running a shift at his local Mcdonald is doing management work on behalf of one of the world's biggest brands. But I believe you imply a position far beyond that.

That's a shit plan that's so fucking basic it's untrueIf you are clueless then leave it to those who know better. As for the club being swayed? Clearly they aren't as evidenced by the 5 year plan submitted to them a decade ago. They completely ignored the basic Trader Concept theme which is why the Premiership hasn't been delivered. Brentford embraced those ideas and achieved the Promised Land. I watched their exploits v Arsenal last night with extreme envy.
It never crossed your mind that the correct strategy would have by now returned PNE to the top flight. Could I implement and oversee this? Too damned right I could!
If I were CEO the club would undergo a revolution
1. McAvoy fired.
2. Thompson and Gallagher fired.
3.Harrison fired.
4. Ainsworth installed as new manager with Unsworth his assistant.
5.Hoyland appointed head of youth system. Possibility Alan Smart as his assistant.
6.Ripley, Hudson, Rafferty, Huntington, Hughes, Lindsay, Browne, Johnson, Maguire, Evans, Sinclair, Barkhuizen cleared out.
7.£6 million transfer pot made available to win promotion and in this depressed market it can be done.
8.Marketing dept. Turned upside down by appointing a high flyer from a top 100 FTSE organisation.
9. Formalised ongoing meetings with the fans.
We can only dream so fear not as this would never happen all of which brings us back to a club going absolutely nowhere! Enjoy yet another mediocre ride before the inevitable relegation finally hits.
That's a shit plan that's so fucking basic it's untrue
You wouldn't think it would be that basic from someone who has worked for a long list of reputable companies.
I thought the guy was a hairdresser?
Ok, much to my annoyance, I am going to bite.
Rather than going in circles I will address these points
If I were CEO the club would undergo a revolution
1. McAvoy fired.
Have to agree with Mr Woods here, seems a nice chap but have concerns, hope I am wrong and it will be great to get something like Gary Peters atmosphere (obviously higher league)
2. Thompson and Gallagher fired.
Thought this about Thompson for a long time, Gallagher I would like to see him develop his coaching with us.
3.Harrison fired.
No complaints with this either.
4. Ainsworth installed as new manager with Unsworth his assistant.
Still unsure Ainsworth would be a success but willing to try him he would get some energy back into the club that has been missing since the dwarf was here.
5.Hoyland appointed head of youth system. Possibility Alan Smart as his assistant.
Again, no complaints here
6.Ripley, Hudson, Rafferty, Huntington, Hughes, Lindsay, Browne, Johnson, Maguire, Evans, Sinclair, Barkhuizen cleared out.
How??? Do we just pay them off? There seems no one is wanting to buy as this is a depressed market.
7.£6 million transfer pot made available to win promotion and in this depressed market it can be done.
A depressed market works both ways, you cannot just magically sell squad members you dont want, where is this 6 mil coming from, to replace the same numbers (at higher quality) you will probably need to spend more.
8.Marketing dept. Turned upside down by appointing a high flyer from a top 100 FTSE organisation.
No doubt, but I am not sure there are loads of FTSE 100 highflyers rushing to come to Preston.
9. Formalised ongoing meetings with the fans.
Totally agree
So there is a lot I agree with here, but to be honest we all come up with a Christmas list to Santa on how we think the club can be run better.
There is no doubt the club is going backwards and we see cheap options all over the place.
There needs to be energy injected into the club, I cannot see this happening with the current owners and his advisor.
And again I applaud Mr Woods for his passion, what I cannot condone is
1) The holier than though attitude, like I have done this what have you done?
2) Constant badgering and plastering of bets
3) Unfounded accusations
4) Pushing his own agenda/podcasts
Thanks
