I haven't voted but I don't think the next Manager will be made from within the Club even though it would be the cheap option.

Graham Alexander & David Unsworth have been put in charge at the moment but neither have been told that they are potentially the No 1. That tells me that it is irrelevant as a New Manager will be named asap from outside the Club.

I'm not convinced that Unsworth and Alexander have the ability to manage the club long term but they may just provide the stability we need at the moment. Forget the Play Offs, another 8 or 9 wins are needed as soon as possible to ensure we maintain League 1 status. That shouldn't be beyond this group of players, whoever the manager is, provided he plays players in their best positions and doesn't change formation/personnel every game. Get the club safe, then review the situation at the end of the season.

Would someone please explain why the red carpet is being rolled out on here for a man who just weeks ago was The Poison(ed) Dwarf ?

Because the man, despite all else, is an exceptionally good manager with motivational skills second to none. Which is entirely what our club needs at this precise time. Once its "job done" and he buggars off again, none of us will give a shite and we will return to name calling him. Mind, I cannot remember ever calling him any names although, I may be suffering selective memory syndrome in this respect.

Would like O'Driscall, play a good style of football that has been successful in this league. One doubt is that his nickname when he played was "noisy" i.e he's a boring twat, he might send us to sleep on Radio Lancs but after the reign of Cuprinol, I'm a bit bored of talking the talk to be honest! Actions speak louder than words, something Mr Ron Seal seemed to forget.

I'm surprised he isn't already caretaker (unless he doesn't feel ready) but I'd personally go for Jamie Hoyland. Really nice bloke, but you wouldn't mess with him, failing that I'd go for Derek Adams at Ross County.

What is it with North End and sacking manager around Christmas though, i expect an appointment will be made in the new year - maybe even Owen Coyle or Eddie Howe may be out of a job by then?

It wont happen!! Dave Jones fell out with Peter Ridsdale and both have critised each other in press recently so no point adding it as it aint going to happen!!
