An interesting pair would be Gary Flitcroft and his current assistant at Chorley Matt Jansen.

Jim Magilton slashed to 9/2 with Stan James.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Who's this Stan James? Is he his assistant?😱
Has Roy Keane been linked yet?
I would like to see Michael Appleton as manager, still lives round Preston I believe despite managing Pompey
and they will soon go bust again.

Give him a ring mate, I bet he'd love to join us and fuck off that hellish journey.

Nah. We just want a winning ratio like this:
![]()
OK, Get Rob Kelly in charge then, if we're trusting the stats.
Davies - Over 1/3 or games drawn. The highest draw ratio of them all. Yes, let's get Billy in for some more exciting draws.

Interesting to see how far up the table Irvine is. 9th of all managers who've managed at Deepdale for more than 8 games. Vindication I think there for all those who backed him.

I can't believe Micky Mellon isn't option in this poll.
His team has just beaten Yeovil away in a Cup game and one of the goals was a good finish.
What more does he have to do?

He didn't score one of the goals and PNE should have beaten Yeovil by at leat 6 goals in the middle of our good run !

You failed miserably!!
I'll put money on it that Davies hasn't put in for it .
Considering that all applications are usually in confidence it's unlikely that we'd ever get to find out whether Davies had applied or not. Personally my bet is that he wont be coming back for whatever reason, which in my opinion is a great loss to this club.
I think Billy has moved on in his life and a club such as ours and in the state we are in might not be so attractive to him anymore.

I disagree. Whether someone is being sarcastic is a matter of fact. If the person making the comment states that it's sarcastic, then it is. The only way I could fail to be sarcastic, would be if I wasn't actually being sarcastic.
If there is a failing, then it's on the part of the listener/reader who fails to make the connection that the comment is offered sarcastically, which is more of a misunderstanding than a failure, although I would have thought that the comment "and one of the goals was a good finish" was a fair clue.
