Confirmed Play Offs extended to six teams (26/27)

Heaven forbid people discuss something that's now reality (as opposed to an EFL pipedream) with an updated perspective. We can always just close the forum when you're not online or show you only posts you're interested in?

Possibly.

Or merge the threads.

Or close them all because it’s happening….

It was a shit debate anyway because there are no downsides to it whatsoever.

But 7th can go up in L2 and the NL, so why the difference in standards? The gatekeeping of the Premier League makes me laugh.

That league is stale as shit. It should be 4 up, 4 down. Perennial mid-table teams raking in insane amounts of cash every year.
Pros and cons to both sides. Im not for it but if pne went up from it then id accept it (hypocrite me then 🤭).
What it does mean is Hemmings has to fit the plan amd budget accordingly, means they now have to make sure we finish lower mid table every season as to mid table.

Alternatively, it should make us easier to sell with an extra 2 places up for grabs.

I'll be honest I don't like it at all.

Another decision motivated by money which is virtually how all decisions are made these days.

Play Offs were absolutely fine as they were.

Still a long way to go until its a weird as the spl system
They have two 'biggies', and the PL has arguably 10. The Scots thing is the English thing but smaller & concentrated , being in just the Clyde Valley/Great Glen belt where nearly everyone lives except Aberdeen & a couple other small cities. They do pretty well seeing as it's numerically less than the Brummie area all in. Don't the middling Prem teams have more numerical representation in the Europa/ E. Conference tinpots ?
