Matchday Thread Plymouth Argyle v PNE - 16/03/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

I should have said that any criticism from me over the selection today wasn’t because of lack of faith in Brady but more that I just think Millar is a better option on the left for several reasons.
Maybe but he showed today that he can play really well on the right too

Immense?
Not many other clubs around here.
Very quiet
DOI: I’ve seen a handful of Argyle games this season
Any club that is taking nearly 3000 away fans on the 10 hour round trip to Preston and 1300 away fans on the 13 hour round trip to Middlesbrough and Sunderland is immense

Saying anything otherwise is just silly or biased. Our following was great today and we “only” took 1100

Stopped for food!
We now have four of the bottom five still to play - if we want to reach the play offs, we have to be winning those. If we do that, it's 68 points without considering the games against Watford, Norwich, WBA and Leicester. This is absolutely doable, but could equally end up being very frustrating.
am I right in thinking our last 3 home defeats have been to teams in the bottom 3 at the time ???

They do chat a lot of shit... More than me and that's saying something 🤣

Hard to prove anything but the keeper’s gesture didn’t look like “showing appreciation to the supporters for sticking with us” to me. Especially if half of them were shouting abuse at the manager at the time! It’s probably exactly what I would invent in that situation though!

We had loads under Neil but that was when we were playing hyper pressing. We don’t do that under Lowe so not sure what the excuse is

That’s not true. Granted we don’t do it every game but against Ipswich and hull we pressed them like fuck and forced errors.
