Agreed, I guess he will bring in Whatmough and McCannI didn't realise Lindsay and Whiteman were injured. If they are, it will leave us a bit stretched for Saturday.

It was tight on the far side . Probably five players in a ruck within five metres of the ball no way should he come out with the ball but he did . Late in the game was that lifted /lob :60 degree wedge pass to out wide right.. the guy is just …..coooolIf it was the one with about 10 minutes to go, it was as good a piece of football as I’ve seen all season. He beat two of their players by moving the ball very quickly and a feint or dummy, it was simply outstanding.
Has to said a bloo** awful watch against middles. This season we've not half had lady luck shining on us. Not had many amazing performances this season. Riis is lacking in many skills, which shows how lethal he can be at finishing. After his injury looks like our best player already and has changed our chances in games - lifted the whole team!

Lashers are taking the piss out of us on Twitter for cocking up the banner ……
They don't have enough fans to hold the corners of their flags, let alone surf them...

Couldn’t agree more Whenever we break out from the shackles of ‘we hold what we’ve got’ I believe we really do have the quality /ability to not only win more but be a lot more entertaining . Look really carefully and you’ll see things that will surprise . Hughes can break out from the edge of our box to theirs . Storey can get up and overlap on the wing. Pottsy is terrific when he comes inside with the ball. Brownes close can control including the dreaded step over and drag back can be so effective and great to watch. Millar if he didn’t have to spend half his time defending would be even more dangerous .Keane has one of the best touches I’ve seen in an upfront player . Riss has built muscle and his cut inside , sitting two players down was an indicator of what he can do .. woodman …. Naw .. no one will ever fix his distributions! I could go on but I’m convinced that everyone of the players has something extra to give … if onlyThat Azaz looked fucking quality, didn’t he? Couldn’t have struck the ball more sweetly for his goal.
Feel bizarrely in limbo watching this team. In Mads, Millar, Keane and Riis, we know we have the players going forward who can excite and decide the outcome of a game with one or two enterprising bits of play. Genuinely heartening that we have these kinds of players available to us having been deprived of them for so long (probably going back to McGeady/CR7).
However, we seem to be able to string together so few incisive patterns of play, sometimes down to a real carelessness in possession, that we don’t see this flair, guile and penetration come to the fore enough. When it does, like it did against Cardiff for the second goal and last night for Ossie’s missed chance, it’s very effective and great to watch. But it’s just so infrequent. It’s like we have more than enough proof that the quality is there but something, or several things, is holding it back. The recent run of results is good, and I genuinely look forward to going on again right now, but you can’t shake the feeling that we could, and should, be playing better.

Yeah, Azaz is maybe the best opposition player at Deepdale this season. Those types of players ruin us. Alex Pritchard and Ilyas Chair are others. That Azaz looked fucking quality, didn’t he? Couldn’t have struck the ball more sweetly for his goal.

Rate Freddie very highly , I know I’m stating the obvious but his kicking and general distribution has got to improve . Obviously there are times when it’s absolutely correct for him to hold onto the ball ( particularly when we are under the cosh) but there are many occasions when he frustratingly seems to miss a quick throw or kick which would set up an attack. I know it’s easy to see this when your sat high up in the Alan Kelly stand but last night for example Mads was high up the field screaming for a ball that never arrived.

John Swift aswell awaiting on the last day of the season....
Azaz was at Villa the same time as Cam so a bit annoying as could've got him in on loan at that time (think he went on loan to Newport) and signed him for a small fee. Will get plenty of ROI caps in the coming years so Boro will sell him on for a decent fee in a few years.
Guess he isn't League of Ireland enough for the hierarchy here.

They are a point worse off than us and much further off the play offs in a lower division. That is all that matters.cHeap shot like that is meaningless in the bigger pictureView attachment 19370

He Azaz has had 2 seasons on loan at Plymouth. In the first one he helped them to promotion scoring 8 goals and followed up with 7 goals in the Championship before Christmas. Villa recalled him in January and have sold him to Boro, but, for how much nobody is saying. I bet Schumacher at Stoke wishes he could have taken him with him. But they’d blown their budget on DJ and Ben Pearson.John Swift aswell awaiting on the last day of the season....

There’s a forum member who’s not been around for a while that called Azaz as one to go for 2-3 years agoJohn Swift aswell awaiting on the last day of the season....

Has anyone ever seen Keane hit a shot with accuracy and pace ???
Sunderland at home, scuffed shot, deflection, goal.
Ipswich at home, scuffed, powder puff shot, deflected, goal.
Borough at home, scuffed , miss hit shot, deflects to Riis, goal.
It’s like every time he’s in a bit of space, he panics and shoots at earliest opportunity !

I couldn't give a flying fuck if he farts the ball over the line; only you would have a go at his extraordinary goalscoring record this season.Has anyone ever seen Keane hit a shot with accuracy and pace ???
