The Quakers (Darlington) and Luton (The Hatters) are 2 other examples. I think The Cobblers ( Northampton) is still used commonly.

Don't think there are many good bars in our squad, just turds floating to the surface sadly.

Luton are an exception/anomaly, but still give every club some hopium.

I suppose there could be a small 9 carat one amongst our youngsters who hasn't come to light yet, maybe an odd silver one, and two or three bronze bars from a squad of about 25. 🤣
 
just glad Lowe wasnt to blame for the result.....

at least he picked the team and formation the forum wanted after Leeds..... all down to poor players on the night for me...
some cant pass; some cant control; most cant shoot and lets not mention free kicks or corners.....plus we had 30 odd crosses into their box and only about 3 went to a white shirt.

I largely agree with your post but I reckon it was poor play rather than poor players.
We were shocking in and around the box and the players selected on Friday have a lot more quality than they displayed on the night.

Even if we manage to beat the Mackems away, this will only just drag us up to 1 point per game from the equivalent of 40% of a season.

We are still in relegation form with a difficult run of games ahead.

I am not in the frame for either post.

What I want is for the owners to take this business seriously, and ensure that the business is run competent.y at a strategic and non-football operational level (Director), and at a football operational level (Manager).

That was because the badge was changed at the same time .

It's Leeds who have had the most frequent badge design changes.

Both Coventry City & Bolton Wanderers badges used to feature elephants. Powerful, sure, but a tad ponderous.
