After todays defeat, PNE South Ribble Supporters Group would like to organise a meeting of its members to see if there is anything we can do to make a change.

It is becoming apparent that things are not going to improve without some action from the fans, so we would like your opinion as to what kind of action we can take.

The meeting will be held tomorrow at the Queens Hotel in Leyland at 11.30, if anyone can attend we would be grateful for your opinions and comments. if you cannot attend but would like us to put forward some comments then please e-mail me back.

lets be honest...attempts in the past at any organised protests have failed miserably. Fans have to either vote with their feet or give the useless cunt pelters from the off. A little bit of booing at the end of a game just isnt going to get him out of there
 
A one game absence by all ambassadors would hurt pie sales but not ticket sales. It would be very effective if 3-4k were absent just to show the depth of apathy amongst the PNE faithful ATM. Defeat has stopped hurting so much. That can't be good can it?

but the fecker is that thick skinned it wouldnt effect him one bit...theres only one person who has the power to sack him and thats TH...it all boils down to him....does he simply want the wages down or does he want a bit of success as well. the fact is that moving forward the club is going to be on a hiding to nothing next season as attendances this season affect our budget and as things go right now the pot is getting smaller and smaller. I dont think the club can afford not to sack him

Correct, the only way forward is a blanket boycott - unfortunately I fear that there are too many sheep amongst the PNE faithful to make this course of action effective.

finacially this is nowt to do with the club...catering was sold off

Incorrect - I will be fucked if I will stop watching a club I have watched for 45 years because of a clueless imposter at the helm...one way or another he will be gone soon enough.

So the huge majority of fans are sheep eh...fucking pathetic
 
You can not direct your action against Westley the egotistical gobshite thrives on being hated so any action must be aimed at Ridsdale or Hemmings in the hope they get pissed off and kick downwards . Hemmings is out of touch with supporters feelings i believe and Ridsdale is in hiding .
 
I think maybe all groups getting together and forming an "Action Group" could be the way forward. That wouldnt detract from the main aims of PSG and pnesouthribble. A group that would be petioning on a single issue and once that demand was met could just disappear.

None of us are trying to hurt the club or ticket sales, but surely if we all stay away from the next home match & name the day Westley Out Day, people would have to listen. The problem would be getting support.

Westley is not so much thick skinned but, seemingly, far more comfortable when he is disliked.
If you watch the film Pacific Heights the Mike Keaton character springs to mind. As such, the more people express their disdain, the more Westley thrives and grows in self admiration.
Let's not forget Ridsdale, specifically, his words about Phil Brown prior to sacking him. All criticisms put upon Phil Brown as justification for sacking him are now more than appropriate for Westley.

Risdale is no mug though, self preservation would always be his priority.

apologies for echoing these sentiments. You are correct.
Westley must have been severly bullied, or badly rejected as a younger man.
If you look at his playing career, in which he had more clubs than Vijay Singh, Westley has been released more times than Peter North's gonad juice.
