We have been trying to get Peter Ridsdale to speak to the supporters or open dialogue with us for weeks. Sadly for various reasons he has declined/ignored our offer.

From a personal view I think its clear what needs to be done and Westley needs to go, however as some others have stated any action needs to be thought out and make sure that it makes a difference.

Hopefully it won't come to anything as the owner will depose of the manager in the next 24 hours.

This is why any sort of action/comment needs to be thought out IMHO from a group point of view.

However from a personal view again I also think that Peter Ridsdales position is becoming increasingly untenable.

Agree 100000000000000000%. They are also the problem and leadership begins at the top. This club is going down the gutter and something needs to be done NOW.

I'm not trying to justify my own non-attendance, that's how I will protest until Westley is gone whether 8 do the same or 8,000. You clearly aren't taking this option which of course is your perogative - however, given you seem against a boycott, what do you propose to help bring about change (I assume you wouldn't be highlighting PNE South Ribble's meeting if you thought doing nothing was the way forward)?

I shall apply 1% of my energies on westerly, 1% on ridsdale and 98% on hemmings

In failure it's best to look at constants and root causes

Westlerly is a symptom

I'd go for the the actual root of the illness then eradicate that

excellent news that the PSG maybe getting involved
I would never support a boycott of Deepdale I was there in re election year and god we were poor then but we are rapidly heading in that direction !!
my only worry who is going to follow Westley as all the logical "short term"replacements have left the club ( alexander Hoyland Lucketti etc )
 
I will support my team through thick and thin. I will be there for the next game and all the following ones.

there is a point about non attendance being the only really effective form of protest nowadays though do you not think?

I mena we've seen a plethora of high profile "protests" at top clubs and beyond over recent years. The MU green and gold stuff over the glazers, Arsenal fans black scarf thing over pricing, Liverpool fans constant marching from the pub to ground in defiance of their previous yank owners. Yet the glazers still own united, Arsenal still have the most expensive tickets in the country (and they've gone up again havent they?) and it took RBS (or some other bank) to force the Liverpool owners out.



Im not suggesting anyone boycott, its only a matter of time before hes gone now IMO, but id also suggest that anything other than a boycott would do little, if anything to force any change.

I have not been going on of late. But would support a protest on the next match. My own personal protest would to go on as normal giving the club the revenue they need. On the stroke of 3.10 anyone disgruntled or pissed off leave the ground and congregate on the Tom Finley car park to demonstrate and vent their fury against the owners and management of our club.one of the supporters clubs should release a statement to both the local press and sky.i am sure mr Hemings does not want to see his name dragged throu the gutter. Your thoughts please

Westley will never quit. His whole matra and reputation is built upon a never say die work ethic and not accepting your personal limitations. To quit would be professional Hari Kari for him.

It's up to Hemmings now.
