I know I’ve started this thread with ‘realistic’ & the most realistic option is Lowe‘s going nowhere, but if he did, who can we realistically get in as the new gaffer.

I like Ainsworth. I know people don't like his football but I don't mind direct football just as long as it is effective. There are a fair few reasons he'd be good for us in my opinion:
- creates a hard working team
- can work well with almost no money
- has not only a league two promotion to his name but also a league one promotion (unlike Lowe)
- knows the club
- cult hero as a player (due to his hard work)
- creates a positive atmosphere among the squad and the fans
- generally likeable
- knows how to win playoffs (which let's be honest is our most likely way of getting promoted out of the Championship)

Wilder would be a very good option too if he was willing to come to us
