RIP Shaky
Didnt know the guy personally but he always seemed a bright, intelligent, humourous and football loving guy. No greater respect for a fellow fan who has supported us through thick and thin, this forum has lost one of his shining lights and he will be sorely missed.

RIP Shaky, didn't know him but saw him at a few away games.
He put some of the idiots of this messageboard in their rightful place, held office as the Chief of the Grammar Police and constantly banged on about goalkeepers and inparticularly Lonergan (I will not miss those posts at all).
Threatened to kick my head in once I think (few people have said that though), came out with a stalkerish comment saying he saw me and knew where I worked, but on the plus side I agreed with him on PNE matters more often than not and had a civil conversation or two with him on here.
All in all he seemed a decent guy in the main and he will be missed on here.

Shaky put this video on here or facebook, sorry can't remember which. It's of a get together, in Yates', after Goss closed down. My brother worked at Goss for a long time and sometimes I would talk to Dave about it...I don't know how to freeze the video to take a photo off but there are a few of him on there enjoying a pint or two. God Bless xx

New York White that's a lovely poem. I will use that for the tribute.
And in response to that lasher I know exactly what Shakes would have said. Something along the lines of "well let's face it. You tangerine cunts can't afford to lose anymore fans!"

Just watched Henry score against Lonergan, useless cunt!
🙂
You know as soon as I saw that I started laughing. The hubby asked what I was laughing at. "Shaky will be howling!"

Few people asking about making donations and what not. I've not asked his wife yet however if people want to contribute then I do have a pay pal. I can collect the money in there and then send some flowers and a card from PNE-Online and then whatever is left over will deeded what charity once we've asked his relatives? Just a thought?

People could also give any donations to myself of Katie on Saturday if that would make things easier for anyone who prefers not to use Pay Pal.
