RIP Shaky

RIP Shaky

I`m toying with the idea JD as I don`t go on that many games these days, and there`s a snowball in hell`s chance I`ll be in east anglia this weekend.
It seems right somehow that I should go(for old times sake),but then I`m an old man now and don`t want my "tangerine face pasting round the pub walls if you show" as the infamous FFF threatened me with all those years back.😉
The Vespa has been replaced with an old pushbike these days, so I could be in for a long and wobbly ride home.🙄

Train, taxi for about £3-50, sorted.

Just had a fantastic PM sent to me by the Blackpool poster who posted that comment on AVFTT yesterday - every credit fella, you have done yourself proud with your words in the PM.

You're still a Lasher twat though! 😀

A couple of things we should thank Shaky for as an PNEFC online community:

I managed to use the 'wayback machine' to retrace the unofficial forum as far back as 2000.

1. ornithology - back in 2000 the forum (pnefc.co.uk) was a single topic forum. Shaky and a few others decision to talk constantly about ornithology led to multi-topic forums when the masses started to complain!

2. Shaky was the first to suggest a moor park pub meet back in 2000. In someways it broke the rules by unmasking the forum users anonymity. But on a positive it broke barriers and created friendships.

Thanks Shaky.

That's a good post Horse, I've "known" Shaky since 1999 in on the on-line world and I remember the moor park meets - I recently lost a good mate so my thoughts are with those who had the pleasure of knowing Shaky better than me.

RIP Shaky & I'll raise a glass to you on Saturday

Are they pensioners rates? I`m not quite that old yet.😉
I travelled to Preston for 10 days in march last year (Crown Court duty),it was £7.20 return then. 🙂

Got caught with that Donkey again Sats 😉

Can I suggest we set up a 'just giving' site up rather than PayPal as the latter can zap some of the donations people make.

Edit. I'm willing to set it up if it gets the nod.

I was going to use some for flowers. However mossy has kindly donated into the pay pal account already so if he is ok with that I can use that for the flowers? All goes to the same thing in the end i suppose so whatever. Can you decide what charity after setting it up?

Ive just read the rest of the comments and not ashamed to say the tears are falling though... However I have an overwhelming urge to call you all a set of sentimental cunts...

I am all for a Shaky insult week. I think we should, as suggested, in forum awards have a shaky award for best insult of the season!!!

It has to be, "You Abertan."

Just thought, didn't Shaky come up with the chant "Oyston's Sewing Bags"? If so, I think a rendition of that is warranted on Saturday!

RIP, enjoyed some very funny posts by Shaky in my short time on here. Always worth looking out for. Will be missed. Once again condolences to family and friends.

So some more tales of Shaky:

One his wife may chuckle about:
Palace away, train from London bridge, Shaky & Jacqui had a lovers tiff in front of us PNEYSC lads..."don't look out of the window, stop looking out of the window..." he kept saying to her, as she tried to blank him. Got to Cherry Tree, in the Cherry Tree pub, "I'm staying here, not going on the match, see you later, after the game." she said. Funny, she wasn't in there post match, she went home to Preston and took Shaky's train ticket with her!

Surely you've got to arrive on your scooter!

Sadly I don`t have it anymore! It was sold to a member of the Blackpool & Fylde scooter club about 7 years ago, who lives/lived just down the road from me.Not seen it in years. He bought it as his 'work' scoot as he didn`t like taking his Lambie(which lived in his lounge)out in the rain.
Sad bastards these Lambretta owners! 😉

Hmmm...on second thoughts maybe I`ll give it a miss! 🙄

Am I the only person to try and kill old slack-bladder?

Coventry away, pulled into a grassy car park to see Shaky wandering across the baron field so I headed towards him. "you fucking BMW wanker" he shouted and proceeded to try and pull the door open and drag me out, before he realised it was me!
