We could be in 11th by the end of this weekends games. Just to add salt to the wounds - the Plastics are currently above us with a game in hand. Mid table is a pipe dream so let's stop the rot and get Colin in.It's all a bit contradictory. We don't want to accept midtable mediocrity. Then saying we started too well and set unrealistic expectations. Doesn't that mean we should have been happy with midtable mediocrity?

Perhaps you're really asking why don't I agree with you and the perceived majority on here more often?
I get that some fans can't stand RL and were never going to take to him because he's a scouser and they find his persona and character extremely irritating. And TBF he can be irritating. But he's also enthusiastic and bubbly/energetic.
But I just want the manager to succeed, whoever it is, until it becomes blatantly obvious that it's hopeless.
As I've said, I was never fully convinced about Ryan from the start. SOME of his BS and gibberish can be ignored to an extent and give him the benefit of the doubt, especially when we're doing well in the league.
But I've lost so much respect for Ryan over the last few weeks. It started really with the BS he put forward about Mads, (talking about him needing to contribute more) when the stats at the time of goals and assists for Mads in relation to minutes on the pitch were excellent and showed that Lowe was talking complete bollocks.
He also openly criticised Mads on the one hand for not contributing enough, whilst on the other hand he was playing the supposedly experienced pro Brady, who REALLY wasn't contributing, never has contributed and repeatedly lets the manager and his fellow players down.
However, regardless of whether Ryan is the right manager, or whether the fans like him or not as a person, he's still a human being and what I won't do is call him insulting names.
And I will maintain that were unlikely to appoint the 'right' manager next and we will find ourselves in exactly the same position in 36 months or less.
Probably...... But at least you've now visited planet earth 😉

The players want him gone. Needs sacking ASAP. The fact Ched Evans takes more accountability than him is worrying.
I would not give him until Xmas , the last week has shown what he is about….We'll be mid table again today and probably keep falling , given the last 3 games. Give him til Xmas & PR will have a little chat (hopefully)
He's had a very bad week. Whatever he says, we set up to try and nick something at Boro, and got absolutely smashed, and then we offered absolutely nothing at home against a bottom three side.I would not give him until Xmas , the last week has shown what he is about….
The mitigation is the ending to the Cardiff game IMHO. That was just bizarre. I personally give him the next two games - less than 2 points = sacked (2 points would have to be backed up with an improvement in performance), 3 points gives him a stay of execution up to Swansea, 6 points gets him breathing space to post-Sunderland. I think I'm being very fair.
We did that with Irvine and got Fergie...
Ah well. Best stick with Lowe then eh...
So do you think we will go to Norwich and set up differently to Boro or last night? He's had a very bad week. Whatever he says, we set up to try and nick something at Boro, and got absolutely smashed, and then we offered absolutely nothing at home against a bottom three side.

I don't. It will be a team told to do everything to get the draw. Just like it will be against Huddersfield on the Tuesday and then Watford after that.
He needs to go on sat if we lose. If not before.
Looking at those next 3 games , I think we will be lucky to get 2 points, he has to go if that happens…So do you think we will go to Norwich and set up differently to Boro or last night?

As I say, it's down to him and we'll see what happens. I understand the calls to sack him now, I'm just saying I think it's fair to give him this week to reflect and prepare, and see what we get in the next two games. Obviously if we were to be hit for four again at Norwich then he won't make it to the Huddersfield game.So do you think we will go to Norwich and set up differently to Boro or last night?

He said what I quote, which reads to me like blaming the fans.He didn't blame the fans, don't rewrite it. He actually was very understanding of how the fans are feeling.
However, Ched has at least called out the "fear" stuff, basically saying they're in the wrong job if they can't deal with it
With Ferguson, we either sacked him too late or too early. Too late because the new manager had too short a time to make a difference and keep us up or too early maybe for the same reason - it made no difference and we lost the loan players who were doing well for us.Ah well. Best stick with Lowe then eh...
We can’t make the same mistake again. Now is the time before we fall too low and before the busiest period of the season.
Found the gif button today, haven't you?Lowey's book of tactics![]()
There's no danger of relegation with the ability of the team; however the leadership should take a look at their targets for the next few years and be honest if Lowe is the man to deliver for us.!With Ferguson, we either sacked him too late or too early.
