Now I know some will shoot me down and I can see 1 downside to my strategy already, but maybe we can discuss the point that using £670 as a starting point will put some poeple off, and it is a risk but everything has an eliment of risk at the end of the day.
I have used the 5000 mark of season tickets sold as I feel we will get at least get half the supporters with season tickets to buy into this initially. I thought if each season ticket holder pays £670 to start up with, we could have counter on the offish website declaring how many season tickets sold and as the number goes up, we get a redemption at say the beginning of the season, or Christmas, that is yet to be decided but remember this is just a concept at the minute. I thought if we have 1 price for adults, the ones that sign up 1st and get the ball rolling are the ones that get to pick the better seats, just like arena gigs etc.
Now I cam see floors in my plan, like the initially starting price, maybe the ones that can't afford can be put into a payment plan over the season, I haven't included kids, Disabled or Senior fans. But could something like this ever work? I don't know the split down the figures PNE release to the public, such as when they release the 10000 figure the other year, did this include unders 8s, so i have literally just gone on adult tickets.
Maybe this is too late this season, but maybe we could get something in place for next? Would you sign up to something like this?but once you get to the higher end, the prices do look really attractive, we'd obvioulsy need to get the word out. just trying to think out of the box!
