Confirmed Sir Bradley Potts - Signs new contract.

My understanding is that Potts was on a '+1' contract, so rather than being given an extension, this option was simply triggered. Semantics I know. I also recall someone saying they had spoken to Potts and he had stated that the +1 has not yet been triggered and he was focussed on proving he was worth one.

I love Potts - but I think he's broken.

Yeah, paying the price for very rarely missing games over a long period. He definitely seems done at this level now.

I can understand him being absolutely desperate to not have another injury when he’d just returned.
Just for information it looked to me that it was a knee injury rather than a muscle injury….I would guess cartilage.

I agree - I.e something you’d much rather not risk, by going back onto the pitch at 0-3 down!
 
I think all those years being flogged as our only right wing back have finally caught up with him and now it is just injury or niggle after niggle and not getting fully fit
