Are we talking about the same place?
I was at Boltons training ground not Brockhall, which really is first class, even now.
Ignore me, didn't read which post was quoted! Doh!

Was it Bolton or Wigan who sold us Euxton? Are we talking about the same place?

Sunday March 17th.Fun fact: In the past seven seasons poor old Robbie's only made one appearance on Boxing Day (Everton vs Burnley, 2019 - subbed off 68mins).
For all the others he's been injured - apart from being an unused sub for Bournemouth in 2021.
Poor guy, eh? Unavailable at Christmas in five of the last seven years? What are the chances? 😳
We bought it from wigan, who bought it from bolton. Was it Bolton or Wigan who sold us Euxton?
( It's possible both have been there & gone to pastures new )

"Restricted by what funding was available"
I wish we had owners worth a few bob.

Hey! Don’t knock our Ross.Ross Wallace was a master of not being available around Christmas time too.
Aren't these sort of things exempt from FFP? So they cant use that as an excuse for not investing in the youth setup
It would be of benefit for the 1st team too, they could use the indoor facility when they cant train at Euxton, more short sightedness and penny pinching from the clubCorrect.
"The club" had no problem finding £1.5million to buy a useless plot of land off Trevor Hemmings at short notice.
Money for an actual investment though? Oh no, our funds are restricted...

No idea why PSC even ask for an "update" when there's literally nothing happening at all. No one is working on it.
Might as well ask for an update on undersoil heating, a retractable roof or a halftime handjob from Kathryn Revitt.
They aren't happening either.

Yes the dome is just a catch all excuse for doing nothing. We could create a older age group (or a b team) if we wanted. Set them up with games on an ad-hoc basis with better academies.I had asked PSC to ask if the club had any plans to reintroduce an u21s (or development squad) if they weren't going to be upgrading the Academy in the immediate future.
