I don't think it needs a group brainstorming session, to work out why it's been dead recently.

The forum was ticking along nicely, before the post/thread deleting master (whoever it is) was voted into a position of power.

funny, a couple of mouths (wrongly) insisted that the last group of mods were the trouble makers. Ticking along nicely now was it???, Mods can't win!!

Don't you think though that " off topic " discussions should be left alone ( within reason ) ? Is there any need to " tidy" them up ?......... I could be wrong but I think that's what 1880 is getting at.........Derailing specific threads is bang out of order though.

Depends how deep you want to go. If there are one or two posters that try and provoke in anyway possible but without others realising then it may look as though there is nothing wrong with a thread, so,when certain things get deleted it may look petty. But when you see the full picture there may be more going on than what you realise.
 
I responded to Bill but deleted as I can't be arsed with the bullshit.

Fair enough. I do see your point but there should be somewhere where you can post without worrying too much about what you say... After all, we can all bail out at anytime and we are all only there because we want to be...

I agree, but when people know which buttons to press its hard to walk away.... Especially if it gets personal. Or if there's a tag team scenario!!!

Its obvious that the Mods are coming down hard on off topic posts after what has happened in the past few Months with the last set of Mods.

Now that's a natural reaction, I can even understand it, but a level has to be reached for the good of the forum. The worse is now over now they have been shifted on, so lets get back to the forum as it was before the disaster of that selection process.

And why not let Motiv back? He's an interesting character which is what this forum is badly in need of.
