Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

Start with an apology from the manager for that interview. Follow that with another one for barely acknowledging the fans who made a 10 hour round trip on a Friday night just before Christmas.

Worth noting the "at this stage" comment - they're clearly at least thinking about whether or not to make a change. I'd imagine two home defeats in the upcoming games will force their hands.

My message to Craig, Peter and Ryan is that we're very close to wasting the best chance we've had in years of cracking the top six.

I was thinking it was more than likely the memes being posted rather than actual abuse as haven't seen any either. This is the problem now is that it doesn't matter what the content is, the only thing that matters is if the person recieving a message deems it offensive or not, regardless of what has been posted.
I think using the scouse word, c**t etc can definitely be counted as abuse.

I think if you read between the lines, they are giving him the Xmas period ….

The next to last paragraph contains the words “ at this stage…. “

He will be gone after the Sunderland game
You could be right but they have completely either misjudged or misread the situation.

I think my message to Craig,Peter and Ryan would be,continue with the present, team selections, formation and tactics and you will have the best chance since we returned to the championship of being relegated.....

I'm taking this as a positive because it's definitely the dreaded vote of confidence and now "Peter and Craig" have given themselves a further decision to make if results don't improve.

If you imagine yourself reading this as Ryan Lowe it comes across differently.

It's easy to sack the manager.

Results are unacceptable.

We've spent a lot of money on players.

The squad is capable.

Please back our decision at this stage.

Not exactly a promise of a job for life, is it?

Said it days ago. Sheffield Wednesday is the deciding game. Lose that, even with that statement and he’s gone. But a point and he’s safe until probably the middle of Jan at the very least. Horrible time to be a fan where you can see where the people who are being paid the big bucks are blatantly making the wrong decision.

When Lowe is potted - and it's certainly when, not if - Ridsdale should certainly depart at the same time. We need fresh, modern ideas.

We have no club identity on or off the pitch, because it's all based around doing the bare minimum. There's no long term strategy at all.

The football has been complete dross for 4+ years under three different managers. Yet we continue to renew contracts of players who don't deserve them.

Results matter but performances do too. The current brand of football is unwatchable drivel that will never get a championship team promoted.

We need to sweep away the depressing mindset that our clubs ambition starts and ends at achieving a midtable finish.

We need to stop rewarding mediocrity.
