Do you know, I think a huge part of the problem is Craig actually knows zero people in football. Why would he? He has really been a spectator under his dad. Not his fault I suppose but be brave and find someone. He must know Joe Savage for instance and he'd come back.

Exactly. Lowe turning this ship around is the same as financial planning by buying lottery tickets. We're literally at the phase when a chunk don't mind or even want us to lose so the management changes. There's no coming back from that.

Ask yourself, if we won three on the bounce would Lowe become popular with the fan base again? I don't think he would.

We are the great unqualified after all.
 
Looks like everyone has been right, that we can’t afford to sack Ryan Lowe, presumably it’s because we are close to FFP. Surly the board has to take responsibility over that issue.

Harsh on Craig. If he grew a pair and got rid of Peter and Ryan I'd be more than content. He backed us.

We will be close. Must be. Osmajic was pricey plus Mads, plus loan fees for Millar.

It's worrying on the replacement front. Would be a cheap option again because that's all we can afford.

Remember Peter saying we were nowhere near to breaching any FFP rules after the summer window on the FTF podcast and that was in response to potentially spending 7 million on Cannon.

I just think they really don't want to sack him right before Christmas.

That is also fair , it could well be toxic especially if we lose , but i firmly believe this is the end for Lowe regardless.

His successor IMO will have already been decided , it’s all about the timing.

It’s a shame , i really wanted him to succeed!

Lazy and apathy are at the very core of North End, laughing stock of a club.
 
Don’t post much, but have been a season ticket holder and loyal fan for decades. This statement is a disgrace. We are in a difficult situation, but it is not the end of the world and a few good decisions and signings could turn things around. But the only criticism made by C&P is against the fans that criticise the current situation. Abuse should not be tolerated, but the fans pay money to see their club and the fans have a right to criticise. If C&P think that everything is ok and that the only problem is with critical fans, then the problem is worse than we feared. There is a problem; supporters can be the positive 12th man, but we expect the owners, managers and players to do their job-denial is not their job. I, like thousands of others walked out 10 minutes before the end of the Watford game. First time EVER. I saw that as a constructive criticism and thought that this passive message would be received by the C&P as a message that the fans are concerned. Well apparently they think that they are doing the right thing and the fans are not. C&P, share the triumphs and pain with the fans, do not alienate yourselves.
 
The problem with a statement like that is it’s not realistic in terms of Lowe turning things around and effectively will mean lost points.To my mind leaving some of the best players on the bench(eg Millar/Whiteman) tells you there’s problems in the dressing room.I think to get anything against Leeds will be very difficult and if we lose to Sheffield Wed it would be ridiculous for him not to be dismissed.
