Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

Tuesday will be fun! Looking forward to the game and watching some good football…from Leeds, absolutely smashed Ipswich today and fully expect us to get tonked on Boxing Day!

I think the club have completely misread the situation and are completely blinkered thinking it’s a minority of the fans who are unhappy! A full house on Tuesday calling for the frauds head may well change things!

What odds on the Leeds fans chanting Simon Grayson. Swansea had their Klopp / Lowe fist pump routine prepared.
What I couldn't get last night is that nobody was talking. I was one row behind the bench. Lowe and Marsh barely spoke to each other. The subs barely spoke to each other. Ledson came over to the bench once or twice for instructions, but that was it.

"Supporters can be the positive 12th man. Social media has its place in today’s world but frankly when used for abuse as opposed to constructive criticism it cannot be tolerated. We believe that our supporters can and will continue to demonstrate that they are our biggest asset."

The trouble is, constructive criticism is only allowed if the originator has played and managed at a pro level and have the associated badges. At the end of the day, the only acid test for if supporters is if the way the team plays passes the eyeball test. Clearly is doesn't and hasn't for quite a while.

Personally, I would have potted him but I’m pleased they at least made a statement. Managing a football club is tough and I understand that ripping up and starting again can be counter productive if done while there’s hope of getting back on a good track again.

Surely this is a clear statement that he’s entered last-chance salloon. RL needs to grasp the opportunity - and change something for the better, starting with his mindset and demeanour. And the next statements we make need to be done on the pitch.

I have already bought my season ticket so have no choice but to accept their decision. We did have an excellent start and we have been done out of points by officials that much is true but, what they are not saying (or seeing) is most of those early games were sheer good fortune wins. Having said that I loved every single second of being top of the league whether we should rightfully have been there or not, we have never been in that position for such a long period of time. For this reason, I accept the decision and will be supporting the players, the management and whoever else at least for the time being, no point doing owt else really is there.

I’m struggling to see the point of all of this. If he is on a rolling contract, the pay off will be the same if we sack him today, in a week or in a months time.

I appreciate the money the Hemmings have put in to the club, especially the last window. But how the fuck can anyone look at this squad, the potential saleable assets we have, and think the clown in charge is improving them irrespective of the turgid football and appalling form?

I think this is poor decision. It’s clear that on current form, the team is going to plummet down the league.
Lowe has had 2 years to learn, recognise the differences in this league and impliment them. He has shown that he is incapable of doing that. He continues to play a tactical system which is ineffective and not enjoyable to watch in the slightest. There have been odd successes, but too often there have been heavy defeats which have mired Lowe’s tenure here.
If the club continues to back this regime, then the manager needs to show the changes necessary to address the teams poor performance.
3-5-2 has to go.
Players which he clearly favours, who are not good enough, have to be moved on.
Do I think any of this will happen? No, not in the slightest. There has been no evidence that the manager has been willing to do any of this. I fear for us in that sense.
Finally, none of this statement addresses the chasm that the manager has made of his own making, between him and the supporters. Personally I don’t see Ryan Lowe as an appropriate person to manage this club in light of his comments this week. It’s alienated too many fans and do not think it can be repaired. Hes just not likeable. Clubs are rarely successful when there is a divide between the fans and its manager.
Finally, the club has made a rod for its own back today. They must be prepared to take the criticism that will follow when this form continues.
They had a chance to act and failed

Doesn't really matter what theviwners and their lapdog say...its clear Lowe doesn't deviate from his deficient plan, he's not capable if improving or learning. He can't fit square pegs in square holes. He doesn't help his players, play to their strengths...he's without, all piss n wind.....we've had 2 years of his negative dour shite. He turned A 20 goal a season forward into shite, drops our best players, plays defensive against teams we should be battering...get gone

Yep.
Having a dig at the fans for social media abuse yet saying nothing about Lowe and his comments about the fans.

They’re a pair of pricks.

Oh my goodness. Where to begin with this?

Peter if you are reading this, please let it be known that:

1) I, along with thousands of other season ticket holders (Founder Ambassador as well), have done nothing but back the team week in, week out. We have tried to be the 12th man. Sadly, with Ryan at the helm, we need at least 13.
2) I fully appreciate that we are near the FFP limits and that getting rid of RL may push us even closer. I am sure that a player sale could help with this. There are players worth plenty of cash that Ryan chooses not to play.
3) In summer, Ryan stated he needed a ‘maverick’. You did superbly well to sign Mads for a significant sum. He’s great but Ryan won’t pick him as he’s not good enough defensively. He was the same with DJ.
4) His ability to change games is poor. Substitutions happen too late, are ineffective or forced. Millar was only on the pitch last night due to the injury to Brady. I like Robbie as a player and think he’s talented but another player RL can’t get a tune out of.
5) Negative set up over and over again. Just rubbish to watch. I’ve missed 5 games this season as I basically can’t be bothered. Too cold, too windy, whatever. Ryan has sucked the life out of Deepdale
6) Contradictions… all the time. Too many to list, but ‘the brand’ is biting him hard. There is no brand. We are boring and awful to watch.
7) Brainless changes to the team. Keane finds form after injury and is promptly dropped (as is Osmajic… see comment on Mads as well).
8) Throws players under the bus all the time. Ali McCann the latest.

I could go on, but really have had enough. It’s time to move on, the manager is not working so please, please Peter and Craig, I beseech you. As a supporter of over 40 years, I may not have my coaching badges, but I have worked in leadership for 30 years, have an advanced coaching qualification and I also have two functioning eyes. Please take the decision to sack the manager as he currently looks like he’s taking us back to League 1.

Thanks.

PS - I will be backing the team 100% on Boxing Day, and on Friday and at Sunderland and at Chelsea. I’m there for every one of those games, but I will not give one word of support to Ryan Lowe. He’s out of his depth and needs removing before the damage is too big to repair.

I like the bit'
' respect our decision at this stage'
ie, for now! It is hardly a clear endorsement of our Manager and it looks like he has been given a final warning.
Three things have bothered me about Mr Lowe since the Spurs match.
1] If we come against a team with ANY QUALITY its backs to the wall defending and hoping for a lucky break football. That match against Spurs remains my lowest point as a PNE supporter as we offered nothing. I was and remain embarrassed by our capitulation.
2] As shown against Swansea. We set up to try and contain the opposition....even when the opposition is out for a beating, instead of imposing ourselves on them from the kick off. Teams must love facing us when they should fear us as mush as we are now fearing Leeds on Tuesday.
3] Sustitutions are WOEFUL at best. Time and again our manager with all his coaching success and badges, chooses the wrong players at the wrong time.
ADD a 4th
4] Style....what style? He calls it Brand. I call it out as a figment of his imagination.
