Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

Confirmed Statement from 'Peter & Craig"

To be absolutely fair, well it is Christmas...

If they actually believe that ryan lowe is the right manager of the football team for the long-term future of preston north end then good on them for having the balls to to say it.

But we all suspect that this is likely more a financial decision, because they have pampered lowey to fuck and allowed his gang to infiltrate every grubby corner of our football management side of the club, then we all have to take their medicine.

I've wanted rid of him for years, in a minority, so if the club now actually think this is the best for us then OK cha, let's see what you've all got.

Am i the only one that sees the statement as very positive , they have acknowledged the fans and not ignored them (for once), the dreaded VOC never has a happy ending (well it might for us).

Ryan Lowe is a dead man walking , it’s very clearly only a matter of time , but two days before Christmas is not that time …

Beat by Leeds and he’ll be gone in my view , let’s be honest there is absolutely no value in sacking him now, with the way Leeds are playing today even Pep would struggle to get a result with our squad.

Just a different perspective!

They don’t seem to understand the damage being caused.
Son is in Preston over Christmas (ST holder last year). He’s has no interest in attending on Boxing Day, he’s seen and heard enough. That was prior to this statement and I very much doubt it will change his mind

I think the attempt of the message is actually to note that it's unacceptable to cross the line and hurl vitriol personal abuse via social media. I'd agree with that as a step too far regardless of how poor it gets. There is a way of expressing frustration, annoyance etc without it being disgusting.

The statement is garbage though and will simply serve to dishearten fans even further.

A fair perspective TBH

Will be 'interesting' to see things develop if we are 2 or more down at the break on Tuesday. Bottom line here is we can't afford to sack him.

I’ve got to be honest though, I really haven’t seen any ‘abuse’.

All I’ve seen on twitter is statements like ‘sack the fraud’ and people going on about coaching badges (something he said!)

If he can’t hack that, and is complaining then maybe he is in the wrong line of work.

I think if you read between the lines, they are giving him the Xmas period ….

The next to last paragraph contains the words “ at this stage…. “

He will be gone after the Sunderland game
Yes this how I read things too.

The upcoming games are coming thick & fast, and they are trying to buy time.

Not sure what more they need to know about the situation that hasn't already been apparent for a while.

FWIW I think the trigger should have been pulled on Lowe post Watford.

The involvement (failure!?) of Ridsdale in this whole situation is a whole other conversation...

At least they have come out and acknowledged that results/performances haven't been acceptable.

Another couple of pitiful defeats/thrashings and he's gone....just prolonging the misery for a little longer. Things will be going on behind the scenes.
No comment on performances at all.

With Leeds currently battering Ipswich 4-0 I genuinely fear for us on Boxing Day. I agree with Peter about the investments the club have made, and believe this is a talented squad. But they're lacking in confidence and the whole thing needs refreshing.

No-one wants to see folk losing their job at Christmas but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. It's inevitable, Peter, just get it done.

Agreed.
