"A bit of agent work going on here, but Abu Kamara is available for a permanent departure following Hull City’s promotion. Portsmouth have been working for weeks on this deal, and are struggling to get it done. Charlton made an offer that was satisfactory to Hull, but not the agent - so the reports say. Believe £2.5m is the rough number to get it done, an interesting development."

would ogbene be that bad? looked good in the prem at luton and then i think he got a bit of a setback with an injury and never found his feet at a club. I remember watching him in an ireland game and he looked fast, and a really good physical presence. I wouldn’t mind him

He did his ACL and his hamstring and hasn’t been right since. As a player that relies on pace, and doesn’t really have youth on his side, that’s a killer

Can’t say it feels like a signing that is going to propel you up the division. Feels much of a muchness with Small. Clubs being linked sort of back that up too
