Probably a shocking opinion, but I don’t think Matondo on a 1+1 would be a bad option given we’re having to spread the budget and need another LW option. A lot of similar attributes to Dobbin before he joined, albeit 4 years older.

If we get the players that Mr B suggests I think we’ll see Pol and Lindsay move on….league one for Pol and maybe Scotland for Lindsay.
I reckon Storey, Hughes and Thompson will kept as squad players.

Would we not be better signing a LCB? It seems that PH sees Offiah as RCB (although I think he's better suited to RB) leaving Storey as cover, and we absolutely must get shut of Lindsay on the left. Hughes is knocking on now and we can assume his body is becoming less able to cope with Championship football. With the addition of Harry Clarke the right hand side seems covered to me?

Agree totally . Hate to say this Mowbray at Rovers makes me want to go to sleep when I hear him , but he knows how to set a team up against the opposition, has them organised so every player know his role and what is expected. Our players just seem to go through the motions no matter what formation we play and at times look like complete strangers and haven’t a clue what formation we are actually playing .once we make any subs , if not before.

Biggest priority for me now is RCB. Storey is prone to getting destroyed but Saturday was a hall of shame moment even for him. Caught out of position badly for both goals, and nearly gave away a third if not for Lindsay being alert. So hopefully it's that, and just pray that Gibson doesn't mess up too much when he comes back

Not liking how he hasn't played a lot of games in the past 2 seasons though.

The championship is unforgiving if you aren't properly fit.
