We've already agreed a deal to sell him.Put Thor on from the start.
A shop window .
Team for “Careful what you wish for” FC in t’Cup
(Those last five words….)Never thought I'd say this but sod the cup, it's all about the league. We actually have a real chance to get to the Promised Land this season with the players we have (plus backing by the owners).

I would like to beat Wigan but not really bothered about the FA Cup this season. We have bigger fish to fry.
If we do progress and draw one of the PL sides, I always think we chase shadows for 90 minutes and lose 2 or 3 nil.
I don’t believe this is good for the confidence of our players. Do they come away thinking “I don’t fancy that week in week out”?
Do we have enough players to put a second string side out?

I actually think our 1st XI would put up a much better fight against a premier league team than we have in recent years, but I’d still rather not have a cup run this year. The league is too important.

It's being said because it means less fixtures in future, which would be handy when we're actually playing for a promotion spot for once.Just got my tickets. Cant believe people are saying they don’t mind losing this one. Looking Forward to sticking one over them and Lowe on Friday night!
Be nice to win, but not at the sacrifice of players getting injured or fatigued more down the line. So a rotated team would be great.

Wonder if Ryan Lowe will play a weakened side, he used to do when manager here in cup matches. We should give the ones who haven't featured much this season game time and those just back from injuries to get their match fitness back

He could play his strongest team, but itll still be weakened by the way their coached!Wonder if Ryan Lowe will play a weakened side, he used to do when manager here in cup matches. Possibly may need a weather watch on this
I totally agree with your stance but I think Thor will be gone come Friday night…..Yet we don't want to tempt fate with injuries to vital players. I would rest Iverson, Hughes, McCann, Dobbin, Devine and Osmagic or at least put them as subs and play Walton, Mads, Thor, Smith, Jebbo and Keane.
My post was prior to the interest in Thor from abroad. I'm happy for the lad and wish him well at his new club. I will always remember that pass v Burnley. A moment of quality I have not seen for many a year!I totally agree with your stance but I think Thor will be gone come Friday night…..
When it comes to Friday night, of course I will want us to win but I don’t mind if we go with a weak team and lose , I will soon get over it…..Walton
Storey - Lindsay - Offiah
Potts - McCann - Thompson - Small
Frokjaer
Jebbison - Smith
Could not give a fuck if we go out. Any extra games could have a big impact on our league results.
What we don’t want, is to get any serious injuries to our key players and Friday nights pitch won’t help…..

It's not going over the top. Promotion is the main goal and it's something that it's actually serious for once. So I think it's reasonable for people to have that opinion. Last season showed what a cup run can do.Think some of you are going slightly over the top tbh, I'm desperate to win on Friday.
Not only to get one over on the car salesman and the pie eaters, but winning breeds winning.
I'd be happy if we win, but I'd rather see it be from a rotated side.
I don't think Offish will play

Of course, and I agree, but some are going on like we should throw the game, which is ridiculous. If we get through, we rotate again regardless of who we get. Doesn't need to take priority but I'd like to see us win regardless. It's not going over the top. Promotion is the main goal and it's something that it's actually serious for once. I say we beat the pie shaggers, thank them for their financial contribution, get Lowe sacked and then get promoted.

I don't know if people are saying we should throw the game. More so they'd rather we play a heavily rotated team and then not bothered if we lose, which I agree with.Of course, and I agree, but some are going on like we should throw the game, which is ridiculous. I'm going on the game, but I'm hoping to see a weakened side, and it'd be even better if we beat them with that team. Usual starters can be on the bench to bring on 65-75 mins.
