Team for WBA

Who was the person dressed in plain clothes on the front towards the left in the team photo at the front and the other plan clothes person in the same photo, but was walking away as one of the last people to start walking away, looks like he had dreadlocks? Might be wrong.

Thierry Small

Said on another thread, given the lack of a midfield, I'd go 4-4-2.

Iversen
Offiah, Storey, Lindsay, Vukcevic
Mills, Leroy, Potts, Small
Kenny, Erabi

But fully expecting it to be same old.

Iversen
Offiah, Storey, Hughes
Mills, Leroy, Potts, Vukcevic
Devine
Kenny, Lang

Have we actually seen Kenny and Erabi on the pitch at the same time yet? Feels like a partnership that would work, given Erabi's good holdup play but woeful killer instinct and Kenny's movement and finishing but poor physicality

Neither feels like a complete striker, to play solo up top, so seemed pretty logical to me.

Confirmation that formation won’t be changed any time soon

After seeing some of the Bradford fans' comments about Alexander, coupled with some of the things he's been saying about Mills, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him played as more of a forward. They said he does love to convert wingers in to strikers, so maybe there's a partnership with Kenny on the cards with Potts at wingback?

I'd rather have Mills as a wide 10 than a RWB tbh

Loves to convert wingers into strikers? They played Andy Cook, then Stephen Humphreys and then Jake Beesley up front.

Unless they mean into the duel 10 positions? In which case, yeah, he could play on the right of that. But with the current available squad, it makes more sense for him to play at RWB right now.

Not a fan of 5 at the back but if so, would have Mills as a more attacking RWB with Vuc more defensive as a LWB and Offiah shuffling over to cover the right side. Mills is a fit lad but you need to conserve some of his energy to make his offensive moments more impactful. Feels like this could be a Liam Millar 2 type situation !

If there is one thing that you would think that we should have learned over the last two managers, it is that playing a wing back system when you are trying to shoehorn non wing back players in, just doesn't work.

So no Thompson, Clarke or Gibbs obviously also no McCann and possibly no Gibson though you would hope there will be. But hopefully there will be Offiah, Storey, Vukcevic, Mills, Devine, Leroy, Moran, Small, Lang and Kenny. Beyond that Hughes, Lindsay, Valentin, Erabi and Burgzorg can make up the numbers though to what effect is uncertain. Could there even be Potts. Whatever GA has somehow to make an effective collective unit out of them.
