Liam Millar up against Pol Valentin, think we can already write this game off.
Nicholls
Offiah Storey Gibson Hughes Vuk
Thompson Leroy Devine
Lang Erabi
It's not ideal but we're working with scraps here. We need Mills and Kenny back. Storey under strict instructions to not make those stupid runs that give the opposition freedom of the pitch

One thing not many people have mentioned is that in one off his interviews he mentioned it isn’t just about the first 11 but the whole squad who are needed when you have a run of games Saturday and midweek and regularly changed it up to manage minutes. On this you just look at the bench and think where he can rotate especially with our constant injuries and poor squad overall
Iverson
Offiah Storey. Gibson. Vuk.
Leroy. Gibbs
Small Devine. Moran
Bergzorg
Some Fresh legs in and didn’t sound like Mills would be back. Assuming also Lang not fit. Small up front maybe ?

If we weren't so far behind I'd be happy with a point but the position we've left ourselves in we need to win sooner rather than later.

Hopefully Mills is back so we can have him and Small provide the width. Offiah shunted out wide solely to defend against Millar. It under no circumstances can be Valentin, we saw how that went against Gale at the start of the seasonStorey Gibson Hughes

Has Alexander ever employed a back 4? With Clarke likely missing I think we are likely to see Lindsay in at the back and Offiah shifted out to Rwb.
Which would mean that we are potentially a day away from witnessing the Storey-Lindsay-Hughes partnership under the fifth different permanent manager.

I don't like saying this but we have to start shoring up the back and stop conceding. To do this we need to play a back 5 unfortunately. Id play 541 until January when we can bring players in who can change our formation. It means lyndsay will have to be brought back!
Is it any wonder we are struggling. Stubborn determination not to strengthen the defence.Has Alexander ever employed a back 4? With Clarke likely missing I think we are likely to see Lindsay in at the back and Offiah shifted out to Rwb.

I honestly don’t think that with the current crop of defenders (and unfortunately our keeper on his present form) we have a chance of shoring up anything.I don't like saying this but we have to start shoring up the back and stop conceding. If we sit back with a 5 and try to absorb pressure it could be embarrassing.

I have more faith in the defence than the forwards.
If Clarke is injured, I’d play Offiah, Storey, Lyndsey, Hughes and Vukcevic.

The defenders being completely incapable of defending their box is why we’re where we are. We don’t face many clear chances, but most of the chances we face end up as goals because the defence is so weakI have more faith in the defence than the forwards.

The bookies have wider than evens for a PNE win/draw. How desperate is that.
I am no fan of Lindsey’s but I would not be surprised to see him play some part - if not only to offer more threat on our set piece routines ( if we get any) at the top of the pitch. But the defence looked especially vulnerable on Saturday during f 2nd half

Could be embarrassing this one. Birmingham look decent again. Solid defensively and have quality in key areas.
Depressing times if Erabi is our only available striker. Looks way off the level.
A 0-0 would be huge, but I'd be amazed if we get anything here or at Wrexham.
