Where I will agree with you is that we need to be more attack minded at home starting 2 up top.
Based upon our current fit players.
Woodman
Potts Storey Lindsay Best
Holmes Browne Millar
Mads
Osmajic Ched
Mads HAS to drop back when required, along with Holmes and Millar, to support Browne when defending. Imperative that he is disciplined to do so to make this work.
The crucial area of the pitch and improvement for myself is on the flanks.
Whereas we currently have "wingbacks" occupying both defensive and attacking positions, here we have the defensive players (Potts, Best) guarding these parameters (with licence when required to provide forward support) whilst Holmes, Millar occupy the attacking wing segments with the onus on them to provide defensive help when required.
The above alone will (a) conserve individual energy thus hopefully eliminating fatigue, see Millar (b) allow for a more fluid attacking and defensive strategy rather than one man either side soaked up with the double burden of attack - defend - defend -defend - attack - attack.
Hope this makes some kind of sense.
